I tend to disagree in giving away resources saying. Resources is there to be developed otherwise it's just a piple of dump. Policies and strategies need to be made to be attractive enough so that investment can come to develop them, and you in turn have lots of jobs created. Look at how the new Royalty Framework destroied Alberta's investment and jobs. Yeah..you got to keep your resource then what? but then what? you can't even find a job and even worse no one wants to buy your resources.
I have to assume this video is meant as a joke. If Klein was sober for an entire day between 1980 and today, he kept it a secret. He sold his honor and his province to oil companies for a decades-long drunk, and made Alberta a worldwide joke. He was slightly more competent than George W. Bush, but not so smart.

He was elected as a MLA in 1989. He served as Environment Minister of Alberta. In 1992 the PC Dynasty was beginning to crumble however Ralph took the party over and revolutioned it dominating the province and saying the PC Dynasty. He was a small man who became a powerful person.
Ralph Klein only worked for the interests of big oil and corporate welfare, and the word 'worked' I use as a euphemism for what he really did which was to step aside and look the other way while profiteers ran roughshod over the environment and quality of life in this province.
Ralph Klein is an incompetent chump and will go down as the worst premier in the history of Alberta.
His legacy will be the PC downfall - mark my words.

Klein moved this province from an underperforming, debt ridden part of confederation to the wealthiest province in the nation. Get off your ass and take advantage of the many opportunities that are available in this province and try and be positive about the leader who helped create the many opportunities that you now enjoy.
The Klein administration privatised road maintenance - sold off all the equipment and Dept of Highways Maintenance Yards and gave contracts to private companies - and underfunded them year after year.
Alberta's roads are inadequate for the traffic - just plain dangerous!

WEALTHIEST PROVINCE:
-with the worst roads ( Ralph privatised road maintenance)
- short on doctors ( Ralph cut spaces at the medical schools)
- short on nurses ( Ralph closed hospital based nursing schools and fired 1700 nurses!)
- with Telus ripping us off( AGT "given" to Telus)
- one of 2 provinces with healthcare premiums (TAX)- causing thousands of Albertan to be hounded by collection agencies
- that gives its resources away and has no way of measuring how much oil and gas is produced
