But it seems in our culture we are only concerned about ourselves, our own personal lives. I disagree with some of your idealisms. There are things that need to change in the communities not just education wise, but financially, mentally, etc. You're forgetting the fact that there is a hierarchal level of human needs that are not being met in these communities where these guys are from!
