That's ok. Thanks. I just got an 85 J10. Its got the transmission and front axle out of a '79 j10. The 79 was all wheel drive and the 85 wasn't. And the front (79) and rear (85) axle have different ratios, so with the front drive shaft on it binds up. I need to change the front gears and I'm looking to see if I can find what they are and what they need to be before I start pulling stuff apart.
How much did you sell it for? I'm looking to buy one myself to restore but im not sure how avalible these trucks are anymore. Ide prefrably want one from the late 70's or early 80s. My grandad had an 1982 Model and it was great!
my dad had a truck like this but i was too young to remember but did the honchos have a/c?

Would you be able to give me any info on the axles, specifically gear ratios, if yours are original?
