  • looks like little toy cars racing (0_0)

  • Looks like fun but in the end, appears to be more about the crashing than the racing.

But then again, would be a great to have up here so I could get some kind of live racing fix during the winter!

  • Is that a GoPro camera in the car?

  • @vtmiller No, it's a VIO POV.1

  • also it looks like gibbs fills out tony's suit well, do i see logano's replacement jk lol. i like how miller acted all mad, then shook hands w/ gibbs

  • gigantic go-carts with body's basically. you can hear the motors clicking like go-carts. this is something anyone could do. looks like fun, but on an aluminum track, you cant have much traction

  • looks fun my friend moody race here

  • Who won the Arena Race at Hampton, VA this past Saturday Night?

  • I'm so awesome

  • lol kinda reminds me of a "mini Bristol" type track!

  • The track is built like crap. It has a giant hump in the turn transitions. It throws all the cars out of shape and leads to a wreck every turn. These kids need to learn to drive in a parking lot or something. They are intentionally hacking the other drivers. Looks kinda dangerous to me! The last thing I'd want is a 14 year old teenager going hormonal on me lol.

  • @brown55061 I've spoken to the founder/CEO and the hump was kept in the design to emulate the Bristol and true experience of a short track; to prevent 'anyone' from being able to hop in a car, put the pedal down, and go around the track. Drivers are forced to gas, break, draft, pick their line during the race, and of course set-up their cars to start. This is highlights so you see lots of wrecks- 260 laps per night in 5 different races. There is also $50k in prizes/money paid out per season.

  • @vtmiller

It's just too expensive to get into the sport, but maybe that's what they want. I ran a full scale dirt car for 2 seasons cheaper than it would cost to compete for one season in arena cars. I'd rather watch good racing but like you said, they are marketing more to the crowd that likes the wrecks.

  • i wouldn't want to drive mini cups in an arena, the cars get too destroyed. racing these on out door tracks are way better though this looks more fun

  • i gonna try to do this next year when im old enough

  • I would love to race one of these but there

$1200. Plus your definitley gonna crash so thats a lot of money gone

  • Try $10k for a new one, plus $15 grand in running costs per year, then the maybe $5000 for buying a used trailer and you're set back a good $30,000 for your first year.

  • That looks like it would be so much fun

  • Car 26 can drive!!!! What a ride! and Joe gibbs..........That's a trip!! Be there for sure next week to check this out!!

  • That first wreck is shameful, were the spotters asleep? Wreck happens and the guys in T3 in the back of the pack just kept going full throttle like nothing happened. Clayton good job winning the B Main, proud of you Spindle!

  • 3:30 for Joe Gibbs

  • This is great. Never seen anything like it before. I used to race around in Go-Karts in a small town in the middle of the night. This looks more legal. Where's Dale Earnhart? Cool Stuff here!!

  • im tired of cory mallard she cant drive worth a damn.

  • ha funny who's your driver? 21 or something cause i think she doin pretty good

  • yeah cuz i work for him ask half the ppl who race she plows into them and wrecks them. a typical virginia women driver

  • looks like her team ended up beating yall on track an in the pits.

  • Wow! I've never seen anythig like this! Where do they do it? It seems like a lot of fun...is it on TV? Just curious...

  • Hampton, Virginia; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Charlotte, North Carolina.

There is no TV coverage of Arena Racing.

    arenaracingusa[dot]com has more info
