Who is to judge ? What knowledge has the maker of this docu, has about cotton. Good research is needed before alarming people with this blatant attempt at cotton criticism.

Nothing is cheap. If cotton has to be grown..pesticides have to be sprayed. It has to be noticed that situation in US is different from that of India. The worms might have been eradicated in US due to prolonged spraying of pesticides in the past. However, now BT (Bacillus thuringiensis) cotton is being grown. It doesn't require pesticides..and nobody in India now sprays pesticides.

You've a good point there! I think the problems is the governement of India. Indian people are very intelligents and hard working. The workers must be compensated if they got sick from smelling the chemicals of the fabrics. I know these westerners are taking advantages of the cheap labors in India and other 3rd world nations.
