@TauseefTSF Yeah, the story of the clay birds and other such stories in the Quran were ripped off from known false gospels... Messiah doesn't mean God, it means anointed - as in the anointed king. Saul was called Messiah, so was David, and so was Solomon, etc. Why do you think Jesus keeps proclaiming His kingdom? He's the king of that kingdom, and the kingdom is all believers. If every tongue will confess and every knee will bow, then Muhammad will also bow the knee if he truly believed.

@krononomikon The covenant name God gave to Himself was Yahweh. As far as I understand it, Allah is a contraction of al-illah, "the God". However, if Allah is a name, then why did they call Hubal "Allah", and why was Muhammad's father's name Abdullah? But if we're contentious about the name, let's not be, because even in the Quran 17:110, it says, "Say, "Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever you call - to Him belong the best names."

@TauseefTSF You're telling me that 1+2=3, but can't see how Muhammad was in error by thinking that Jesus was given a book. The Gospel is not a book that Jesus was given, but Gospel is talking about the good news of the Kingdom, and the four accounts that we have are the four accounts of the Gospel.  Muhammad seemed to believe that the Gospel was preserved in his time, yet we use the preserved scriptures from BEFORE he was born.

@TauseefTSF No, but Jesus said He is the Son of God, which your prophet didn't understand. He thought "son of God" meant an offspring. The Gospel was also never a book, but there were gospel accounts. Nobody made three gods. The "three" in the Quran aren't even the trinity, so it was evidently against either a heresy, or he misheard what people were preaching. As far as people thinking Jesus = the Father, that was included in at least three other heresies.

@krononomikon The thing is, if Jesus is indeed the Word of God and the Spirit of God coming from God Himself, then that makes Him a part of God and undoubtedly divine. Jesus said that He knows where He came from and He knows where He's going, that He has seen the Father, and that He has come down from heaven.

@TauseefTSF More clearly, trinity means tri-unity. The triune Godhead has to do with the shared Divine Nature. If the Qur'an has nothing to do with Muhammad's understanding, then it's even worse... :( For instance, we know that God is no respecter of persons, but Muhammad is given certain special privileges above the law by "Allah". Another problem is known errors, and the knowledge that they're based off of human misunderstanding - for instance, how Abraham was rescued from "the fire".

The Chaldees settled in the Sumerian city of Ur in the 9th century BC. When the Hebrew was translated into the Targum Jonathan, Jonathan ben Uzziel the scribe made the mistake of translating "Ur of the Chaldees" into "fire of the Chaldees", even though the scriptures say that it's Haran's birthplace.

Now, as the Jews did write fables, they wrote stories about Abraham being "saved from the fire", and these were passed onto Muhammad. These stories are known fabrications. 1) God can't be your father, seeing He doesn't have a consort

2) Mary can be given a child by God's power, even though she had no part in producing it

So, God can make a child for Mary without a husband, but can't make a child for Himself without a wife?

Even so, Jews and Christians both understand God as our spiritual Father, not a physical Father!

Read Psalm 2:7, from a book supposedly honored by Muhammad to see his problem...

@pheeca monogenes in Greek means literally "once born", but is used as something special. In the same way, the words are used to describe one's own life and unique things, even if there are many. It's used because of Jesus being God's very own, God's unique Son. Why else would He say, "this is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well-pleased"? However, even angels are called sons of God in the Bible as well as rulers in Israel, as well as Israel itself as a whole.
