Cause it's censored. That's the supposed reason.
The real reason is that they were too lazy to make the whole fatality, plus it was too hard...

Typically when this fatality is done, when the Scorpion clones run into the opponent, the screen blackens.

Wow, all they did was run into him, while he was still dizzy. Nothing really happened at all. They problem didn't wanna show it cause they didn't have a idea to go with this fatality.

@ShieldLessLink It's not because they had no idea, but because it was an MK3 game and they were too lazy to come up with any new sprites for the fatalities.
