This day was the last work as the motorman on this train. (age-limit retirement) He drove from Tokyo to this station (Shin-Osaka). And when departing, he checked it safely as the last work. After this, he receive generous applause and a bouquet from colleagues.

500系が消えれば、500系を見るために東京に来た外国人はが­っかりすることでしょう。

いっそのことV編成8両のこだまを観光列車として東京－新大阪間­で走らせればいいと思います。

しかし東海さんは１６両編成にこだわっていますから、実現は難し­いかもしれません。

500系のぞみ私個人的には

大好きなのですが

今年にダイヤ改正で東海道地区は

数えるほどしか走っていません。

私個人の意見としては

500系を東海道に走らせてほしいです。

panacealand様、今晩は☆W編成が見られるのも、もう­1年無いですね(汗)私はほとんどW編成に乗る機会は無くなり、­V編成に乗る機会がほとんどです。いつかはW編成の記念撮影をし­たいなぁと考えてます(^^;)

Ｗ編成は2009年5月現在、１日に2往復運行していますね。

のぞみ6号（博多7:00発）、のぞみ28号（博多12:00発­）、

のぞみ29号（東京12:30発）、のぞみ51号（東京17:3­0発）。

今のうちは空いてるかもしれませんが、東海道から引退の直前は

０系の時のように大混雑するかもしれません。

乗るのも撮るのも今のうちです。(^-^)

This train (series 500 nozomi) will disappear soon for aging. It will be use N700 as a substitute for series 500. This train debuted in 1997. But it's popular from all over the world even now.

If you come to Japan sometime, please ride the Shinkansen!!
