When originally built there were 5 towers. One was in the center and considered the "Clock" tower. The building was condemed twice for structural stress because of this tower. After the 2nd time, this tower was taken down.
The loss of such an historical building is not just a tragedy for our Mormon neighbors, but for many in the community who too have been blessed with the beauty, and many fond memories of programs in celebration of culture, Christmas, and worship. We too feel your loss, and pray we may be able to help in any way we can.
That is terrible.. I can't believe it.. Did you film this from the NuSkin tower? I used to work there.. I worked there for 4 yrs in the Shipping/Receiving Dept when Russ Depew what there.. Oh I miss that place... Anyway, Thanks for sharing this.. terrible news.. Looks like a total loss.. I hope the church rebuilds...

I was actually there this morning when the tower or whatever collapsed, it is in the middle of the two corner towers on the east facing side

@krebstaz : No worries, it looks like the report I saw on a news channel was wrong - I have yet to see any pictures of any towers down.
