@ghekor There would have to be intervention from the rest of the Pantheon to even make bringing Sargeras down a minute possibility, considering he is their brother, the Pantheon would imprison him before they killed him, but how do you imprison one of the creators of the universe of Azeroth? Certainly every aspect, elemental, undead and humanoid on all of Azeroth would not stand a snowballs chance in hell at beating Sargeras without serious intervention.

Yeah hellscream is an @sshole... The answer on the question on that deathwing: He comes from under the barrens. Between northern and southern. It would be stupid if warcrat is ending, because many people are paying for that game. If they make money from it why would they end it!!!!!!!
@howareyaist No he doesnt come from under the barrens... He was hiding in The Deepholm wich is technically not even a part of azeroth. When he escaped from Deepholm a rift was open between depholm and the maelstrom, the reason the world is as fucked as it is now is mostly because he was smashing and hitting the walls of deepholm and deepholm keeps azeroth from not falling into the ground...
I'd love blizzard forever if they stopped killing off all the major characters. Arthas/Lich King is dead. So most likely no more reasons for the scourge to be running around. Illidan and Kael'Thas are dead. So no more reasons for evil blood elves and more story following the draenei, orcs and evil gods. Cairne is supposed to die in caataclysm..makes me sad cause he is the only horde boss in game that has nothing going on. sigh. I imagine blizzard is trying to end wow without actually saying so.

Deathwing has been hiding his sorry ass inside Deepholme because the Demon Soul was about to rip his body apart, until some badass goblins made some adamantium armor and nailed it to his body. Why the goblins came I have no idea, but the worgen being introduced due to the Greymane Wall getting raped by the shattering is not a stupid idea. But indeed, the story has been shit lately. Wasting Arthas, the most epic character in WoW, was perhaps their greatest mistake.
The story has not gone nuts sir, Deathwing was involved in one of the oldest Warcraft stories that takes place on Azeroth. Worgen were summoned to fight the Burning Legion, and Goblins have always been around (seriously have you played? I mean the Steamwheedle Cartel were a neutral faction since vanilla)

@Xzentein There are still 2 old gods. One that corrupts the emerald dream, and the other that corrupted Deathwing in deepholm, I'd say the old god powerful enough to corrupt the king of dragon aspects, the dragon aspect of earth has got to have some serious balls.

WIth her consort being the unofficial king. But I do agree that there are indeed more Old Gods, but I don't think there's a definite number to them all. Who knows....for all we know maybe each Old God so far is actually a prt of a much larger one? that would be fun.
@Xzentein we do know from war of the ancients there are at least(at least) 5 old gods chained under azeroth that have taken corporeal form, 2 have been slain by players, 1 slain in darkshore(speculation at least) and the 4th one named in cataclysm N'vak or something. However you are correct about Deathwing, even so...no group of mortals would be able to bring him down, some big help will more than likely need to be involved, like with the LK, killing eveyon in 1 hit, no one stood a chance.
@d4rk0v3 Yeah you're right about the Old God thing. I did some reading a little after I flabbed my mouth =P. But I don't think the Old Gods can actually be killed...just weakened enough to where they turn tail and run...or go incorporeal and hide underground. It's been stated that the reason they were locked up is because if they were to be killed, Azeroth would probably die with them because of the level of corruption they've spread. I mean..they're giant parasites.
the reason none of us wanted to kill arthas is because 1) he was the most epic dude in warcraft 3 and 2) he was never really "bad", he just woulda gave everything to save his kingdom, and he thought frostmourne would save it, instead it corrupted him and made him the one to destroy what he swore to protect, its like star wars with anakin turning to the dark side
The main recurring melody of this song just always tugs at my heart somehow. I love WoW's music because they always communicate perfectly the themes present, through the music. In this case, the theme makes you think of everything in Arthas' backstory; the pride of Lordaeron, one of the Alliance's most cherished sons, corrupted and driven to obliterate his own people.

@CharlieAndHisGuitar The Arthas lore book is amazing. Goes through from him being like 10 or something right to becoming the Lich King. Also makes you understand why he goes for frostmane and the things between him and Sylvanas. Its a good read :)
@CharlieAndHisGuitar Actually he made the good judgement, it was the fact that the others didnt believe on him regarding the plague that lead him to doom.Arthas, with his men, was left alone to protect stranbrad, and thats when he found out what was and how the plague worked. Purging the town was by then the only solution (as they didnt have contact with the naaru to redeem those souls, or weakened the LK to allow them to brake from his control as the forsaken did much later).
@TheSteinmetz342 I totally agree. There is no other true Lich King than Arthas himself. The power of the Lich King lives on in a new body, but the true soul of it died with Arthas.
I think almost all of the song is actually in 'Common', which is the language humans speak in Warcraft (this is the language you will see alliance speaking if you play as horde). Most of it doesn't sound anything like Latin. There are however a few random words in Latin, for example near the start you can clearly hear 'Equinus' which is latin for horse.... clearly a reference to Arthas' steed. I really hope Blizzard provides the lyrics for this song one day!
@EternalQuestion well i have to prove you wrong. Dont worry, only a little bit :) as you already mentioned, you can hear -not only horse, but- undefeatable horse in latin various times. We know that "An Karanir Thanagor" is Common, the link is in the sidebar. Lament of the Highborne is elvish of course. But what you hear in Call To Arms or at the end of the WOTLK main theme (not the intro music), is totally latin.
Thanks for the input, but I did say SOME words were in latin. Are you sure that it says 'undefeatable horse'? It clearly does not use the word 'Invictus', which would be latin for invincible or undefeatable. Perhaps it uses a synonym which I am unaware of (my understanding of latin is fairly basic).
When I said almost all of the song is in 'Common' I was just talking about this particular song, not any others in the Warcraft series. Call to arms is definitely in latin :)

Well, I guess you all know what the soul of Uther tells to Jaina (or Sylvanas): that the Lich King has to be replaced. Even though I don't agree with him (well, too bad for me I guess), I'm pretty sure that we will see that replacement as the solution. And I also believe that it will be Bolvar Fordragon. We all thought that Bolvar will be a boss in ICC along with Saurfang Junior.But in Yogg Saron's vision we see a Turned champion (the orc) and a Tortured champion, Bolvar, whom they couldnt break
LIch King cannot be defeated, but Arthas can. As Uther Lightbringer Said that even if you destory this Lich King, annother will take his place. And without a lich king, the undead will run on a rampage, with no controll, killing anything they see. Like a bunch of douchebagsXD.But i like what happypaladin said, that Maybe the next lich king, or very unlikely arthas, will lead the undead to do some good. And possible use the undead to help finish of death wing, once and for all!

Blizzard is the standard when comes to in-game music and in-game movies. This is a beautiful piece of music. Only Bioware comes close to matching this level of awesomeness. Don't hate, give credit. It's the number one mmo in the world, that speaks volumes.
@pumareyes1 While #1 mmo... I'd find a LOT of people who would say LOTRO is fairly close to it. I personally have never played it, but the graphics and lore are supposed to phenomenal, and From what I've seen Graphic-wise, they are much better in LOTRO... if only i had time for both... =)

Exquisite. They really stepped up the sound and music design in Wrath. The quality of the in-game zones, open-world and raid, is also a step above Burning Crusade. I'm almost worried that they won't be able to match the cohesiveness of Wrath in Cataclysm, let alone go a step further, due to how fragmented the new expansion will be (new content scattered across Azeroth, most with wildly varying themes).
This is Arthas's song, it played as he ascended the Frozen throne in W3, it played to re-introduce him in Wrath, and I'm guessing will play with his death. The rein of the prince who tried so hard to save his people and failed so horribly, finally finds rest and is brought home.

The story has not gone nuts sir, Deathwing was involved in one of the oldest Warcraft stories that takes place on Azeroth. Worgen were summoned to fight the Burning Legion, and Goblins have always been around (seriously have you played? I mean the Steamwheedle Cartel were a neutral faction since vanilla)

@minxinator Lol good point. I've actually thought about hat too. Or something close to it anyways. Like how the player characters are apparenlty powerful enough to consistantly repel attacks from the Darl Gods and even march into Ulduar and deal with several of the Titans. Eventually I think wow will just end our charaters being forced into retiremnent cause of the lack of shit to do. Or better yet...We become raid bosses for the next hundre million or so players lol

@Xzentein There are still 2 old gods. One that corrupts the emerald dream, and the other that corrupted Deathwing in deepholm, I'd say the old god powerful enough to corrupt the king of dragon aspects, the dragon aspect of earth has got to have some serious balls.

@d4rk0v3 It would be a far cray to refer to eathwing as the King of the Dragon Aspects. I mean he's badass and all...but I believe that Alexstraza is the official Queen of them. WIth her consort being the unofficial king. But I do agree that there are indeed more Old Gods, but I don't think there's a definite number to them all. Who knows....for all we know maybe each Old God so far is actually a prt of a much larger one? that would be fun.

@Xzentein we do know from war of the ancients there are at least(at least) 5 old gods chained under azeroth that have taken corporeal form, 2 have been slain by players, 1 slain in darkshore(speculation at least) and the 4th one named in cataclysm N'vak or something. However you are correct about Deathwing, even so...no group of mortals would be able to bring him down, some big help will more than likely need to be involved, like with the LK, killing eveyon in 1 hit, no one stood a chance.

@d4rk0v3 Yeah you're right about the Old God thing. I did some reading a little after I flabbed my mouth =P. But I don't think the Old Gods can actually be killed...just weakened enough to where they turn tail and run...or go incorporeal and hide underground. It's been stated that the reason they were locked up is because if they were to be killed, Azeroth would probably die with them because of the level of corruption they've spread. I mean..they're giant parasites.

the reason none of us wanted to kill arthas is because 1) he was the most epic dude in warcraft 3 and 2) he was never really "bad", he just woulda gave everything to save his kingdom, and he thought frostmourne would save it, instead it corrupted him and made him the one to destroy what he swore to protect, its like star wars with anakin turning to the dark side

The main recurring melody of this song just always tugs at my heart somehow. I love WoW's music because they always communicate perfectly the themes present, through the music. In this case, the theme makes you think of everything in Arthas' backstory; the pride of Lordaeron, one of the Alliance's most cherished sons, corrupted and driven to obliterate his own people.

He would have never made a good king or even a good Paladin, look at the Culling of Stratholm, that was the turning point for Arthas.
It shows that his hate of evil overpowered the correct judgment to make.

@CharlieAndHisGuitar The Arthas lore book is amazing. Goes through from him being like 10 or something right to becoming the Lich King. Also makes you understand why he goes for frostmane and the things between him and Sylvanas. Its a good read :)

@CharlieAndHisGuitar Actually he made the good judgement, it was the fact that the others didnt believe on him regarding the plague that lead him to doom.Arthas, with his men, was left alone to protect stranbrad, and thats when he found out what was and how the plague worked. Purging the town was by then the only solution (as they didnt have contact with the naaru to redeem those souls, or weakened the LK to allow them to brake from his control as the forsaken did much later).

I think almost all of the song is actually in 'Common', which is the language humans speak in Warcraft (this is the language you will see alliance speaking if you play as horde). Most of it doesn't sound anything like Latin. There are however a few random words in Latin, for example near the start you can clearly hear 'Equinus' which is latin for horse.... clearly a reference to Arthas' steed. I really hope Blizzard provides the lyrics for this song one day!

@EternalQuestion well i have to prove you wrong. Dont worry, only a little bit :) as you already mentioned, you can hear -not only horse, but- undefeatable horse in latin various times. We know that "An Karanir Thanagor" is Common, the link is in the sidebar. Lament of the Highborne is elvish of course. But what you hear in Call To Arms or at the end of the WOTLK main theme (not the intro music), is totally latin.

Thanks for the input, but I did say SOME words were in latin. Are you sure that it says 'undefeatable horse'? It clearly does not use the word 'Invictus', which would be latin for invincible or undefeatable. Perhaps it uses a synonym which I am unaware of (my understanding of latin is fairly basic).
When I said almost all of the song is in 'Common' I was just talking about this particular song, not any others in the Warcraft series. Call to arms is definitely in latin :)

Arthas dies, the spirit of his father tells Tirion that there always must be a Lich King. The scorched body of Bolvar appears, he says he must be that person, so Tirion puts the crown on his head. Bolvar then tells him to never tell anyone what happened there, and freezes into the throne.

Well, I guess you all know what the soul of Uther tells to Jaina (or Sylvanas): that the Lich King has to be replaced. Even though I don't agree with him (well, too bad for me I guess), I'm pretty sure that we will see that replacement as the solution. And I also believe that it will be Bolvar Fordragon. We all thought that Bolvar will be a boss in ICC along with Saurfang Junior.But in Yogg Saron's vision we see a Turned champion (the orc) and a Tortured champion, Bolvar, whom they couldnt break

LIch King cannot be defeated, but Arthas can. As Uther Lightbringer Said that even if you destory this Lich King, annother will take his place. And without a lich king, the undead will run on a rampage, with no controll, killing anything they see. Like a bunch of douchebagsXD.But i like what happypaladin said, that Maybe the next lich king, or very unlikely arthas, will lead the undead to do some good. And possible use the undead to help finish of death wing, once and for all!

Blizzard is the standard when comes to in-game music and in-game movies. This is a beautiful piece of music. Only Bioware comes close to matching this level of awesomeness. Don't hate, give credit. It's the number one mmo in the world, that speaks volumes.

Exquisite. They really stepped up the sound and music design in Wrath. The quality of the in-game zones, open-world and raid, is also a step above Burning Crusade. I'm almost worried that they won't be able to match the cohesiveness of Wrath in Cataclysm, let alone go a step further, due to how fragmented the new expansion will be (new content scattered across Azeroth, most with wildly varying themes).

This is Arthas's song, it played as he ascended the Frozen throne in W3, it played to re-introduce him in Wrath, and I'm guessing will play with his death. The rein of the prince who tried so hard to save his people and failed so horribly, finally finds rest and is brought home.
