  • Is that a cordoba cadete?

I play nylon slide as well. Not so twangy so i use metal. Kids, the trick is not to press down fully. ;) Nice playing!

  • @DAKMAIN Thanks. Yeah, I like the sound of slide on nylon. The guitar is a Yamaha C-something . . . got it about 17yrs ago.

  • I thought you cant play slide on nylon strings, is that a different slide ?

  • @metalhaze1982 I'm using a glass slide made by Diamond bottlenecks. It's unconventional, but there's no reason you can't play slide on a nylon string guitar. -Brian

  • Stunning, great combination of feeling and technique!

  • Thanks, I appreciate it. Great stuff on your channel. Love your latest "Blue Hula" slide tune! -Brian

  • What type of slide are you using? glass, steel?

  • hand-blown lead crystal glass by diamond bottlenecks.

  • great tune and slide playing

  • wow man, that takes lots of work, on a nylon string guitar that's really well done

  • Thanks Jimbo!

  • masterful. conventional thinking said it couldn't be done...

  • Thanks! I transposed the tuning up a few steps to increase the string tension for the slide . . . put on a high-tension set of Aquila strings too. -Brian

  • I'm surprised that more people do not play slide on a nylon-string guitar. It actually works well.

    Nice job.

  • Wow!

  • Lawdy. Corking!

  • Thanks Starrchild! Love that new resonator guitar you made! Congrats on a successful build . . . it sounds great!

  • Hey, good research! Actually, looking back at my favourites, I see that your resonator video was one of the ones that must have inspired me way back when.....

Not that I could play & compose like you... ;)

  • Absolute madness ... love it.

  • Thanks very much! I won't deny my madness. I'm late . . . I'm late : )

  • you my friend, are -no doubt- one of MY all time Youtube fav's of all time.

One of the very few I re-play xxx and over again and again. I cant get enough of this.

    So well done, Brian!

  • These songs are a lot of fun to create! They're short little pieces, but they keep me occupied for months. Thanks again Pascal! I really appreciate the support!! Now, what to do next... : ) -Brian
