Ron was too funny. "Wake me when this is over". Lol. Even though I don't agree with how the Reverend flirts with Whitley's mom, I like the way he talked about Whitley. About how she was an excellent fundraiser and she believed in miracles. Look how Byron's brother is looking at Whitley after she sees Dwayne everywhere. Too funny!! I like how Ron was with his boy 100%. Even Shazza was onboard with Whitley and Dwayne being together. Byron didn't want to let go of Whitley's hand. He was so hurt.

Out of all the episodes of A Different World that I like to watch, season 4 through 6, were my fave seasons. Seeing Whitley and Dwayne together was so cute. It was the definition of true love. Whitley knew she didn't wanna be with Byron. Dwayne knew he wanted his woman back and he refused to let her get married to Byron. I love this episode b/c he got his woman back and married her. true love did prevail.
Now that's how you DONT GIVE UP on what's really yours!! That's how you fight for what your heart believes! Been watchin this show I know since I was 12-14 and I'm 30 now...it never gets old or boring! The absolute best episode of any season! Way to do that Dwayne!

It shows that Whitley chose the man of her dreams and not anyone else's. She mae her own decision not off money, not off well being, but out of love and she was happy with who she chose. She may have left Byron at the alter but she did what she in the end knew was best for her. It was better that she left Byron at the alter tha make a horrible mistake of marrying him knowing she still was in love with Dewayne. She would have only ended up cheating on Byro with DeWayne. She did the right thing!!!

im only 14 and this is one of my favorite shows and this is so sweet becuz dwayne is cute whitley is pretty just the perfect couple and i love this episode so much and this still bring tears to my eyes and i just keep watchin it ima be cryin for hours too sweet!!!!!!!!!

@gumie1995 I wonder also. It appears all the shows on TV now are so toilet and garbage, but back in the 80's and 90's there were good shows on the air. I loved them all. They set the tone. Now I could not stand this show because it was preachy and all this we as black people this and we as black people that. The episodes that were not preachy was good and set a good point. This episode did hit home and showed there was true love

It shows that Whitley chose the man of her dreams and not anyone else's. She mae her own decision not off money, not off well being, but out of love and she was happy with who she chose. She may have left Byron at the alter but she did what she in the end knew was best for her. It was better that she left Byron at the alter tha make a horrible mistake of marrying him knowing she still was in love with Dewayne. She would have only ended up cheating on Byro with DeWayne. She did the right thing!!!

@HippieGoddess142 I totally agree with you. You DO NOT wait until the ceremony to leave somebody. Be a woman and decide before you get to the alter. You cannot trifle with people like that. As far as I'm concerned you have already said I do when you said yes to the engagement ring. Don't take the ring, if you don't want the man. Save everybody the stupid drama. I did not enjoy this episode. The only positive thing about it is the fact that Byron was saved from a lie of a marriage.

Sensitive Cancer here who slso loved the show and specifically this episode! Dewayne proved how good of an actor he could be at that very moment. I also loved how Ron ran to his friends aide when the ushers tried to stop him. When he yelled '' BABY PLEASE'' If you didn't believe in love before, then this episode should've awakened your curiosity! I'm a sucker for love stories!
