I went the Colonial Cemetery on a school trip. We also had to climb the mountain as well. Was Great fun!

very interesting, ive always wanted to visit the site of the battlefield, ive briefly looked into it and the price i was quoted for a 2 week stay in a hotel near the site was £3000, dont know if anyone else has any ideas for a cheaper rate

@comets00 wow really?? im only 15 and badly want to visit rorkes drift and isandlwana at some point in my life, hopefully find a cheap place. or why not camp nearby in some hills or something, I dont see any reasons why they shouldent let people do it. :)

I don't think that's wise my friend...although most of the locals are a very proud bunch...it is a poor part of the world and incidents of attacks although rare ..do happen!
