The correct spelling of her name is JEANNE CRAIN. The "e" that she wrote is inside the loop of her capital "J". I wish the original poster could change the name on this "You Tube" segment out of respect for the actress and her fans.

what a gas - she uses the term "DARLING" a hundred times- ...in her first big starring role in a Fox Film, the title of the movie was .....In The Meantime, Darling"...and none of the panel got the big huge clue she continued to throw out there - listen again & see if I am right...Darling...

Well, when she signs in her name, she scrawls in a hidden 'e' inside the swirl of the letter 'J'. Can be misleading to someone not familiar with the actress. The plaque, with her name placed in front of her where she sat, spells it correctly, as 'Jeanne Crain'.

Bennett Cerf was the consumat pro, as he proved time and time again. Jeanne was a great actress but in State Fair, they dubbed her voice in her solos.
