  • You need a straitjacket for Christmas.

  • I suppose that is all the sense you are able to make of me. There is a joke that goes like this:

    I don't suffer from insanity.

I am enjoying every minute of it.

  • JohnWilliams! plz continue to make such videos.. you need more exposure to youtube .. and keep pwning Lee Doren :D

  • Just read the USA Today article in the sidebar I listed. They talked about DOT positions making 100,000 per year...many of them, when 18 months ago, there was only one.

  • Cherry picking a threshold? That still tells me nothing.

  • And you can retire after 20 years working for the government. I know, I get a check every month, Can you do that in the private sector?

So, working for the Government for 20 years and then getting 75% of your pay with raises for the rest of your life works for you.Cool, That's what I did. I wonder if Cisco Systems has that plan.

I started drawing retirement pay at 38 years old............Doesn't that just frost you!

  • If you worked for the military, then I would say that it is a lot like football, that the span of your career is limited. It depends on the job.

  • Ok you are saying all these people are highly qualified to work in government yet why is government failing huge?

  • The government has been under republican ideological assault for the past three decades. They apparently do everything possible to prove that government is a failure.

  • hahaha thats a little rich, only 12 of those years they had a majority...

  • Please......You're becoming dull..... Never a solution only an assault.

  • I can hardly stand to watch HowHeThinksTheWorldWorks anymore. I'm afraid you're arguing to a deaf person...

  • I think your last ten seconds said it all. I'm a fed. employee (not making 6 figures) and if I were to go to the private sector I would make...between double and triple what I am with the fed, but I would have to compromise a few of my principles. I'll gladly give up the cash to keep my integrity and continue to serve the public.

  • I don't like the "public sector", but I don't blame people for working in it. People make cost benefit decisions, and if they don't take the offer in front of them, someone else probably will, and its just not a good time to pass that money up. There are important jobs the government does (not that they can't be done in the "private sector"), the government has to compete with companies for those people. The only problem is where the money comes from, and how that money is acquired.

  • Taxes are part of the social contract between We the People of the United States.

  • I have never met "we the people", and I certainly never signed a contract. Its never too late though, if they (being the government) would like to set a contract in front of me, I promise I'll at least read it. I'm pretty sure I never signed up for pillaging of the public purse through endless wars. I can think of more productive ways to spend that money.

  • I noticed that too...he wasn't specific about what jobs he was talking about......but maybe he has a link to a page in the sidebar with a full explanation of what he means...I wasn't really interested in that story so I didn't check.

  • I followed the link and it was the same lousy story from USA Today with little or no information.

  • oh...that's retarded.
