  • Well done Paddy, however with only 979 views in 4 years the revolution seems a thousand years away. And it is a pity you are out of sync. I have worked out how to achieve the results you are looking for but you don't agree with me, so where do we go from here?

    Cheers,

    Bob Howes

  • This is about common sense.

  • So has this guy changed his name to PlaysWithSquirrels and married a moose yet?

  • Simple Solution, but not Socialism. Socialism has roots in an archaic and doomed structure just like all other historical ism's, like Capitalism.

Solution: The Venus Project and the Resource Based Economy, using technology to serve us, and free humanity to become something greater.

    Just google The Venus Project.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution No, the solution is communism.

  • @PesiCool Sorry, you had your shot, and screwed it all up with authoritarian dictatorship nonsense that is built into the model (people still run other people, even in Communism). Fortunately, the RBE removes than little nuisance. So, have fun with your hammer and sickle, but that time is long gone.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution

How does the government work in RBE?

I don't understand why people who advocate RBE hate communism so much. The definition of communism is GREAT, and it absolutely goes against fascism.

  • @PesiCool TVP's website covers the RBE quite well.

Communism has serious flaws, and every time it's brought up, Communist purists want to argue about it, which is tiring and I don't do it anymore. As mentioned in another video by ChelevSaRa, the RBE may share a point or two of many previous systems, but it is not specifically any one of those systems.

In short, Communism is about government controlling people, the RBE is about people controlling themselves using tech as the enabler.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution In short, you know nothing of communism as I know nothing of RBE.

Let's help each other out, shall we?

  • @PesiCool check out the venus project.com or the zeitgeist movement.com It makes more sense than having an elite governing class.

  • @dudeedud7 elite governing class? What the .... are you talking about?

  • @PesiCool communism requires a governing class of people doesn't it? a group of upper class decision makers who make laws, right? It is thought by some that people, given power, are suseptable (sp?) to corruption. RBE says remove power from people then there will be no corruption. I'm more like you than different. I want a better system too. trying to find one I can support. help me if you can. thank you. ps, i'm not affraid of being wrong so tell me if RBE is.

  • @dudeedud7 Communism is stateless and it doesn't have a governing class. In real communism there is direct democracy.

As private interests in modern sense are abolished in a communist country the welfare of your whole nation would be in your own interests and everyone works together. Under different communist principles and other forms of societies this has worked out very well and there is no real indication that this would not work.

I am working on starting a model micro-nation........

  • @dudeedud7 And we will see how things progress within such a system for around 1 - 10 thousand people. At least, that is the goal. :)

This is a great video which shows how communism relates to The Venus project and RBE.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution ZMF: watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w also (The Venus Project dot com)

  • In economic models Communism AND Socialism can create almost utopian models. Nothing even similar can be built with capitalism at it's core UNLESS Socialist "safety nets" are built in. Unfortunately in the Real World Capitalism DOES work and human nature destroys the workings of communism and socialism. It's a shame really since in Capitalism we are forced to have "winners" and "losers" and about 90% go into the "loser" class. Damn human nature will spoil utopia every time...

  • @randy109 what you mean by human nature? because if you talk about competition then this is not human nature...but i would like to hear what you mean by human nature...then i can say more...i am curious

  • Workers of all lands unite.

  • Very good video.
