  • How is that place not bursting into flames! its too awesome...

  • there is a dvd/cd of this incredible performance? please answer yes!

  • mark knopfler is FUCKING CRAZY dude

  • epic tune performed by epic artists

  • Que buena version !!!!

  • it's just a nasty hamburguer

  • That lineup is just orgasmic!...

And don't you guys forget that, that night, Paul McCartney was there too!!!...

If he had played the bass on this song with them, that would have been like: Kill me now, I've seen enough!!!

  • mindenki együtt van, nagyon kiforrott az előadás,..

  • ez fantasztikus- this is fantastic,...,

  • which is the name of the technique then he does at 0:23 ?

  • @guiluiz1000 I believe the official name of the technique at 0:23 is called 'Knopfler' :-)

  • What a fucking line up

  • I would of paid 5,000 to sit front row with all these legends!

  • Wow! it blows my mind! the gods of guitar falls from heaven. plus Phil Collins the lefty drummer, and Sting its Perfect! I am just wondering who's that guy on percussion? any ideas? thanks for uploading anyway.

  • @tawingsuperman

    Ray Cooper :)

  • FUCKING MASTERPIECE!!!!!

  • just cuz he can :P

  • @jonathandublin1 i guess you should know the reason for his saying it. Ill bet its from the band "The Shadows" the band who Mark were inspiered from. Hank Marvin told from stage, why they allways change the guitars so often, and than he said because he can..

  • money for nothing and CHICKS FOR FREE!;)

  • Tiny soul chorus...

  • I want my, I want my, I want my M-TV!!! Money for nothing, chicks for free!

  • no buforuj się kurwo!!!

  • best money for nothing EVER

  • grandiosi..

  • damn... i wish i was there!

  • The Cello players were clapping LOL.

  • Now that is real talent that is on that stage. I feel sorry for teenagers growing up now because they are bombarded by no talent hacks like Justin Bieber, Kesha, Usher, and a host of other over glorified dancers who couldn't get by without their voices being digitized and having a drum machine backing them up. People will forget about them, Sting , Collins, Clapton and Knopfler are men who will endure the test of time. Today’s radio listeners are musically impoverished.

  • @alphacause im a teenager

luckily im not sucked in by todays music

  • @SuperJaykay93 I am glad to hear it.

  • Amazing. It's like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin together...

  • a group of crazy people :) Love it so much

  • Unbelievable.

  • 4 genios da musica

  • Muito bommmmmmm MESMO!!!

  • W O W !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The performance here is great, but they had to be very PR about the cut of the song. The original does use 'faggot' to refer to 'the owner of a jet airplane' and 'millionaire'. It wasn't meant to be derogative, though. Money for Nothing was originally Dire Straits' comedic take on the concept of MTV. But it became one of their most popular songs, ironically. I still like this performance, though. But the original video does their song justice.

  • I love this version of Money For Nothing. So much talent on stage together. Nadine

  • This is the worst version of Money for nothing I have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, I love the Dire Straits and I love the song, but this is just horrible. And I have probably heard every version of this song. First I thought, this has to be the best thing ever with this line up, but the sound is really bad und miserably mixed down. Unfortunately, the same holds for brothers in arms, my all time favorite (if you want to hear the best version try the on the night concert!)

  • потрясающе..

  • goooooooooooooooood music

  • \m/(*_*) cool!

  • Sting sounds like SHIT in this performance. I wish the bouncers would've bounced his ass out. Would've been pretty funny. But everybody else is great. I can't stand Sting.

  • mark looks so good with THE model

  • Phill te best battery

  • This line up is rediculous....... how many legends can we get on one stage?

  • I like the solo with a Gibson and a Fender

  • The legends together!!!! YIHAAAA!!

  • phil collins, sting, CLAPTON, Mark Knopfter.....ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!! those were the days.....

  • @Maurimu

    Elton John was there too!

  • Gooooooddddddddd music

  • nice 2nd voice on that BRIAN !!

  • Great video. Mark K and Eric C are Legends. Nadine

  • shit sting is uselesss here

  • yep thats true.

phil rocks on drums as usual though. good ol' phil!

  • @redraw01 dude your the biggest ass....what do want, another useless guitar strumming.....sometimes you should add anything more before you pollute the process...sting has always made that song

  • Comment removed

  • @redraw01

that because Mark Knopfler overshadows him as the better singer?

  • @redraw01 you're useless here too.

  • @redraw01 he's a singer and he sang - what more did you want?

  • @Calidore1 To sing it well donk

  • grandiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.......

  • I want that Les Paul!!!

  • Looks very much like a '59, does it? :D

  • I think it is an original '59. Read it in Guitarist magazine which ran a special on the 'Burst

  • PIZDARIJA :)

  • Eric Clapton looks strangely like Hugh Laurie.

  • I though the same.

  • I IOvE tHiS sOnG.

  • SICK

  • favorited!

  • what a cast... knopfler, collins and clapton...

  • don't forget STING! his background vocal was a huge part of the original song's success...

  • Would have been even better if he was on bass too!

Who was on bass, was it Nathan East?

  • @Len3000Helmond you forget Sting... just saying

  • @Len3000Helmond You forgot Sting and Elton John.

  • Phill Collins.....what a grat drummer!!!!

  • the bald tambourine man was the greatest thing

  • i love this song. Its fucking awesome! WOOO HOOO

  • if i'm not wrong the background percussion is performed by Ray Cooper

  • this vid rocks!

  • who is that guy thayt plays percussion in the backround,i'd like to have his job!

  • lo....d easiest one...aint it?? : )

  • got no words to describe

  • the lineup for this song is amazing!

  • more technique than knopfler?

    I don't know about that

  • Nowadays guitarists may have more technique than Knopfler and Clapton, but their music is definitely not like Dire Straits' or Cream's. Knopfler and Clapton have music in the blood. And the vid is simply awesome, thank you principalsuspeito

  • Yeah Mark's a wonderful man!

  • this is the best!!!

  • Very nice vid

  • fuckin incredible.......to have been there must have been divine!!!

  • lo maximo

  • great song; known dire straits for nearly 30 years, but unware this song existed; thanks for posting it.

  • I reckon that this is probably my favorite live version of this song. What does everyone else think?

  • This fucking is awesome. I love it

  • ...potevo esserci pure io al posto di Sting a cantare e non se ne sarebbe accorto nessuno!! ;o)

  • SWEET

  • Awesome line up! Great song about the misconceptions of fame.

    TY for posting.

  • Mark Knopfler, Sting, Eric Clapton and Phill Collins.......the Perfect "Band" for me!!!!

    Great Performance!

  • best song for all time.......

  • haha clapton didnt even get dressed up

  • the best guitar solo in the opening ever yo, i would of paid alot to see this live

  • The sheer amount of talent on one stage. This is close to the perfect concert for me.

    Perfection.

  • nice...
