  • that looks gay

  • Has anybodys C6 Z06 dropped a valve yet?

  • wet sump or dry sump???

  • superchargers are rated in psi of boost that they add to the car's induction system not horsepower

  • @00JPinn00 because you need at least that amout of power to spool the supercharger...

  • hence why i said OVER 300 all of the ls variants make at least that much now as far as i know

  • for 18 grand he could have gotten a much better engine he should have built up an lsx block that would have been impressive

  • after he push 2 times on gas ,,,,1 liter of gas was gone :-))))))

  • u need a 300hp blower then ur workin

  • @EatSumTacos the ls7 comes stock with over 300 hp so what are you talking about?

  • @00JPinn00 He said a 300hp blower.

  • @00JPinn00 LS7 is more in the 500+hp range... the LS2 alone is 400hp

  • @00JPinn00 a supercharger

  • @EatSumTacos well superchargers are rated in psi of boost that they add to the induction system idk what you mean by "300hp" blower im just a lil confused ive never heard the term im not trying to dis it its just new to me

  • @00JPinn00 like the top fuel draggers... there supercharger are like 600whp lowest rating... meaning you need at leasts 600whp to work it... :p

  • @Tj1056 alright makes sense

  • why did firehawkowner get 3 thumbs down its true the reason the ls9 is a 6.2L is cause that roots charger would crack the ls7 block but if it were a 427 iron block it would have a better chance btw firehawkowner is right!

  • LS3 is much better than the LS7,

its more tougher and can handle more power, as for the LS7 is too fragile.

  • @firehawkowner and you're full of shit

  • @firehawkowner As for the LS7: The crankshaft and main bearing caps are forged steel for durability, the connecting rods are forged titanium, and the pistons are hypereutectic. Titanium intake valves. The L7 is used in the 2006-2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. I wouldn't say the LS7 is fragile.

  • you should learn engines and how to speak correctly before trying to give advise to the guy who owns the car

  • is the LS7 swap for the new ss camaro pretty simple? Any mods, upgrades needed besides the motor? It seems like its a direct swap and fit for the SS. $18K total for parts and labor? did you get the ls7 motor from gm? did they keep your motor? i'm looking for the right color combo SS right now and would like to drop an ls7 in next spring. thanks

  • i dont know the exact specifics...my car is a '10 LT...this was some other guys who owns a custom car shop and did this all himself down in the Dallas Texas area

  • what parts would you need other than motor and wiring harness... this will like bolt up to everything in the maro easy just need wiring harness with that LS7

  • dont they already come with 400ci ls7?

couldve just bored that damn motor out

  • 376ci LS3 the LS7 is a 427

  • oh lol

    holy shit my bad

    and ls9 is a zr1 engine right?

  • yea it is a 6.2ltr like the LS3 but there is really very little commonality between the two.

  • yes

  • bad ass sound!!
