Deuteronomy 22:13-21 says if a man marries a girl and finds her not to be a virgin, then she is to be stoned to death. Safe sex ignorance is not an excuse, at 14 if a girl doesn't know that sex=baby then they need to be put in a special needs class. If a girl doesn't care, then she should face the consequences. If she doesn't want the child there are plenty of people who would. I normally have respect for everyone's opinion but after seeing your profile, you're just another hateful guy who wouldn't want the responsibility anyway.
Of course most people will know that sex=baby (except for some of these religious nuts who think that the stork or jesus brought it), what they might not know though is that birth control pills are not 100% effective, nor even 90% effective sometimes and that condoms are not foolproof either. Its not as simple as just slipping it on, you have to make sure that there no air pockets and that it is well lubricated or else it could break.
I agree, the problem is a lot of kids just don't get spoken to freely about it, so they don't consider the possibility. A child will not be at the forefront of their mind unless a parent is honest and willing to really talk to their kids and help them understand the true chemistry of it all. They need to understand that exact fact, a condom wont solve all the problem its a combination of waiting, the pill, and the condom.
There are alot of little things (and big things too) about safe-sex that just aren't being taught in America's schools, because the Bush government would rather teach the extremely dubious practice of abstinence and bury its head in the sand rather than believe that young people are having sex.
I agree wholeheartedly with that. There are alot of things that should be covered that aren't. I mean I know parents don't like the idea 'oh my baby! I don't want them to hear about the dirty!' some parents just need to get the hell over it! Mothers need to understand that putting a child on the pill is not permission, it's a step! The pill+condom together is a good chance that nothing will happen. Schools and parents need to be more honest with kids about this topic.

My best friend had her son at that age. I'm pretty sure from being there every step of the way I have a very good idea what she went through. She is so happy and proud of her son now and glad that he is in her life that she wouldn't have it any other way. I also have a friend that had and abortion, I was there for her through that. The after effect make it so she may never have another child, she had a son before this. She says it was the worst mistake of her life.

Teach them safe sex, healthcare, help single mothers who are already struggling, get them off the streets and fed, and stop murdering them before they breath. Its easy for people in the West to shake their finger at abortion because they think everyone enjoys the same standard of living as us, but the fact of the matter is that many kids are born into a world of abject poverty and misery only to live a short while before they ineivitably die as a result of these conditions. I do in fact agree that there are certain standards other countries just can't meet, and that it is a horrible ordeal for the children there to have to suffer. I do not believe they should have to... I do not "criticizing people" for having an abortion. I've already said on many different occations, it's my choice not to do it. It's my opinion that it is wrong, I do not force that opinion on others, but I will not help support it either. I state my opinion in a peaceful mannor so long as the person I am debating with is a mature adult and doesn't turn it into a personal issue. I agree that America needs alot of work. If a mom can't provide for her child, give the child to someone who can.

You see the thing about this is hschan and I already debated as mature adults. hschan is what I would call a logical adult with very good points and the maturity level to debate them. I do not attack people for getting abortions; I've got friends that have done it. I have my own personal opinions on it though. You can grow up and deal with it sueezee, or you can continue with your sad excuse for attacks on me, which were completely unwarranted mind you. I do not judge people, it is not my place.
I don't know hschan; it's really hard not to notice the social stigmas associated with having a child young, having a child without being married, and having an abortion. For some insane reason, people feel that they have a right to say they are better then other people for their personal views or the circumstances they find themselves in. I don't think its something one can just do a basic over view of, its constantly changing and obviously very different for each individual.
It doesn't take much to acknowledge it; the real problem is getting people to stop noticing the social issues. The stigmas and standards society place on various issues are unrealistic. For instance one may say "I would never stay in an abusive relationship those girls are pathetic" yet one could very well find themselves in one and think its completely different. The real hardship is getting people to have their personal opinions and to respect those of others.

I met some little babies who weren't aborted- where they lived it was illegal.
I met them at a HIV clinic. They were girls by the way...unwanted girls.
Who, just so happened to be prostitutes.

3 of them died within weeks of my meeting them- the rest had HIV, 1 had AIDS. All had vaginal injuries, and would suffer from lifelong trauma.

Safe sex ignorance is not an excuse, at 14 if a girl doesn't know that sex=baby then they need to be put in a special needs class. If a girl doesn't care, then she should face the consequences. Of course most people will know that sex=baby (except for some of these religious nuts who think that the stork or jesus brought it), what they might not know though is that birth control pills are not 100% effective, nor even 90% effective sometimes and that condoms are not foolproof either. Its not as simple as just slipping it on, you have to make sure that there no air pockets and that it is well lubricated or else it could break.

I agree, the problem is a lot of kids just don't get spoken to freely about it, so they don't consider the possibility. A child will not be at the forefront of their mind unless a parent is honest and willing to really talk to their kids and help them understand the true chemistry of it all. They need to understand that exact fact, a condom wont solve all the problem its a combination of waiting, the pill, and the condom.

I agree wholeheartedly with that. There are alot of things that should be covered that aren't. I mean I know parents don't like the idea 'oh my baby! I don't want them to hear about the dirty!' some parents just need to get the hell over it! Mothers need to understand that putting a child on the pill is not permission, it's a step! The pill+condom together is a good chance that nothing will happen. Schools and parents need to be more honest with kids about this topic.

My best friend had her son at that age. I'm pretty sure from being there every step of the way I have a very good idea what she went through. She is so happy and proud of her son now and glad that he is in her life that she wouldn't have it any other way. I also have a friend that had and abortion, I was there for her through that. The after effect make it so she may never have another child, she had a son before this. She says it was the worst mistake of her life.

Teach them safe sex, healthcare, help single mothers who are already struggling, get them off the streets and fed, and stop murdering them before they breath. I am well aware of the problems we are having. We have them because there are so many people that don't care, like you for instance. Its easy for people in the West to shake their finger at abortion because they think everyone enjoys the same standard of living as us, but the fact of the matter is that many kids are born into a world of abject poverty and misery only to live a short while before they ineivitably die as a result of these conditions. AIDS babies in Africa are a perfect example, born with a disease that will cause them nothing but suffering, pain, and death. Wouldn't it be better to have never lived at all?

I do in fact agree that there are certain standards other countries just can't meet, and that it is a horrible ordeal for the children there to have to suffer. I do not believe they should have to... Take America's privatized healthcare system for example, you have people that cannot even afford their own medical bills, let alone that of their children. It's my opinion that it is wrong, I do not force that opinion on others, but I will not help support it either. I state my opinion in a peaceful mannor so long as the person I am debating with is a mature adult and doesn't turn it into a personal issue. I agree that America needs alot of work. If a mom can't provide for her child, give the child to someone who can.

I do not attack people for getting abortions; I've got friends that have done it. I have my own personal opinions on it though. I don't know hschan; it's really hard not to notice the social stigmas associated with having a child young, having a child without being married, and having an abortion. For some insane reason, people feel that they have a right to say they are better then other people for their personal views or the circumstances they find themselves in. I don't think its something one can just do a basic over view of, its constantly changing and obviously very different for each individual.

It doesn't take much to acknowledge it; the real problem is getting people to stop noticing the social issues. The stigmas and standards society place on various issues are unrealistic. For instance one may say "I would never stay in an abusive relationship those girls are pathetic" yet one could very well find themselves in one and think its completely different. The real hardship is getting people to have their personal opinions and to respect those of others.

The child is not being 'touched' while trying to move away, the increase in heart rate shows that they are aware they are in danger and are trying to escape the item that isnt touching them yet but they instinctively recognizes as being un-natural.
