I think Eric has secretly more love for drums then for guitar playing. You can hear it in his productions, you can hear it how he talks about the drummers he has worked with. This guy has an eye and an ear for drummers. A damn good guitar player but a drummer at heart.

I kinda have that too. And i am not that good of a guitar player but the first thing i tend to listen to is the drums in a song. And then i air drum them. I love playing guitar but drums... Awesome... :p
