Vocally I thought she was quite good. Her hand movements were double or even triple of what Dusty would have done and in a way diminished the desired communication.

The woman no doubt has a great voice & she seems to be a natural in front of the cameras & in front of all those people. I really do like her voice because I've always been in to deep, husky voices. Still, I don't think she should be imitating Dusty. It won't work for her nor will it work for anyones else. It's not that they don't have talent is just the fact of no one had Dusty's talent & no one is good enough to look at them & say "omg, she must be Dusty incarnate". Just ain't gonna happenXOXO

I sort of agree that she's not an amazingly close sound alike. She does have a brilliant and strong voice but her vocal tone is lower than Dusty's. However i am really chuffed that she won...Dusty won. Shes not well enough commended these days and she is amazing. I love Katy and Dusty!

I'm sorry, she looks more like Dusty than sounds like her. The voice is too baritone. Where are the hushed tones and vulnerability? Katy has a very, very good voice, but would perhaps make a better Shirley B.
