MAMware, I was gonna give you a bunch of crap about what you were saying ie youtube + compression, and then I paused and turned it up (acoustic research AR11 speakers, c. 1974, Adcom amp) and lo and behold, there is some seriously awful frequency in there. I know its not in the original cus I have it in the Deep Dish mix. Shame really. I love the track to pieces - going on 10 years now.

or you actually you have ear damage maybe its time for audiometry

its hard to listen in laptop speakers or small desktop speakers this can be heard in hi-fi system or monitors and is more close to 17khz

dont get me wrong, the song its great (i looked for it because i like it and have it) maybe the error is in format conversion
