  • When I first saw the video, I was under the impression they found Meiko's house and had this imaginary battle so that they could tell their 'parents' how they killed the witch and her henchman so they would take them back in, but in the end came to the realization of their past somehow and went home to confront Miku and Kaito.

I now know better, but still.

  • Mothy is a genius, with all the complicated plots, and interconnecting them all...

  • Is anyone else lightly reminded of Alice of Human Sacrifice?

  • I have this strange feeling they just killed their parents, as there mom for being a witch and the dad as a hench man

  • Master of the Graveyard was right Kaito could do nothing and Did nothing dam he was useless

  • I am I the only one who notices that in Twiright Prank that the same crescent moon is used to represent the splitting of the twilight between Rin and Len?

  • If I don't read any comments and try to know what's happening in this song, I would say that Len and Rin were left to die, like they say, like Hansel and Gretel, and they then found their way to back home somehow and killed their parents, and I believe that their mother was not their real mother, because of their cruelty. And at the end, they wish to go to their real parents, so they commit suicide or just die, because there's nothing left in the house.

  • @Rousannie That wasn't very clear, but whatever o_O

  • @Rousannie

They weren't their real parents. In "Moonlit Bear," it's shown that Miku kidnapped the twins back when they were infants. In "Chrono Story", it shows what happened to the twins after wards and kicks off mothy's Seven Deadly Sins series.

  • Is this part of a series

  • @blacksantay Yup! It's part of the Original Sin Series consisting of

    Moonlit Bear

    Tale of a Moonlit Abandonment

    Chrono Story

  • wow i was going to say hansel and grettle but then they mentioned it o3o and woah what a weird story

  • They ate their parents?

  • @WolfSttary12 Noooo.

Gretel (Rin) shoved Eve (Miku) into the fireplace.

Hansel (Len) somehow killed Adam (KAITO).

  • so this is based off of hansel and gretel?

  • The Kagamines would be such good friends with Hansel and Gretel.

  • I think that the parents had a hard time struggling to feed their family ever since the twins were born so they went without things and resented them for it. They couldn't feed the growing children, and left them in the woods to die, so that they could live well again. The twins survived and instead found their way back to the house. Driven mad by loneliness cold and hunger they killed their parents for food and warmth. Then they sat with full bellies and tried to find their way back to reality.

  • @FemaleQuillTip That may have been what happened, but the twins weren't driven by cold and hunger. Eve (she is mentioned by the name "the witch" here) killed their mother, and the twins know she did it. They got their revenge for their murdered Eve in this song.

  • The witch was actually the mother, the henchman the father... The real mother in father is probably a god and godess of some religion.

  • Here's what i think happened- The Family is starving. Kaito and Miku dump the twins in the woods and leave. Somehow they find out that thier real mother(Meiko) was murdered by Miku and Kaito, so they found thier way back to the house and killed them. Continues into chrono story

  • @Animelover433 They never found out about their real mother. They just became crazy like Miku did.

  • hmm this reminds me of hansel and grettel next minute, like hansel and gretal......I JUST SAID THAT!!!!!!!!!

  • This is also a PREQUEL to Chrono Story. But offhandedly, Recollective Organ comes right before this.

  • Miku and Kaito are their parents ;.;

  • @KamiruraCamichan Not exactly. In moonlit bear, Miku stole the twins from MEIKO (and I think LEON) and killed her, and KAITO didn't know what to do with them, so they adopted the twins.

  • Why were they abandoned, I wonder?

  • @Sinshana watch Moonlit Bear. It'll explain everything :P And if not, then just skim through the comments to find an explanation.

  • So basically. The mother and father abandoned them and they were angry at them for doing that and when they went back to the "witch's house" (mother's house) they killed the witch and the henchman ( their mom and dad) o.e wow

  • @wolveprincess Aren't the twins just some freakin twisted individules...that why i love them

  • @QuEeNyB222ny LOL xDD Pretty much~

  • Emm~ So I ve been wonderland about the bottle so I think

The "little glass bottle" that appears in Moonlit Bear and Okizari Tsukiyosyou seems to be a reference to the song Regret Message. The bottle also is mentioned in the song Lu li la, Lu li la, the Resounding Song appearing along the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia, showing a deep link with the Kagamine's role through the The Stories of Evil

  • Is it weird this song, and Moonlit Bear, make me cry every time I watch it?

  • How ironic....

  • The Title is kind of a pun o.o

The Twins were abandoned on a Moonlit Night. So you could say that the Moonlit in the title refers to that..

Or The Fact that they thougt they were the Children of Adam and Eve Moonlit,

So Moonlit Abandonmeat could refers to the twins themselves.

  • This gives me like a dark feeling bit evil but like sad idk

    Shivers** I love it!!!! ;D

  • "we are left alone"

me: *Sigh* like hansel and gretel....

    "like Hansel and Gretel"

    Me: :D

  • Yeah ^.^ Gumi killed Len *sigh* Although, we don't know about Gretel's fate yet, the only mention she gets in Fifth Pierrot is...well, she doesn't get mentioned. We just know that she's #4 ^^

  • That's possible. Conchita's servant's served Conchita about 300 years after this song and Hansel (Len) get's killed 596 years after this. So it's possible that the twins served Conchita as they were alive at the time. The Master of the Graveyards servant's are the reincarnations of Conchita's servant's; so if the Hansel and Gretal (Rin) served Conchita then the Master of the Graveyard's servants would be their reincarnations. But, I don't think that these Twins were the same as Conchita's twins.

  • Hmmm... Maybe these two Rin and Len will become the Conchita (also Master of the Graveyard) servants?

  • @juzinhabio89 My previous comment was a response to yours. I forgot to hit the reply button ^.^

  • @Usagisama68 Thanks ^^ Yeah, after reading the wikia I believe that these two aren't conchita's servant... If I'm not mistaked Hansel and Gretel became part of the Pere Noel and Len died on the song Fifth Pierrot...

  • T-They killed their own parents...

God, Vocaloid never fails to amaze me.

  • @Akakata7 No, they killed Adam and Eve Moonlit. Eve killed their actual mother...after kidnapping them...

  • @LenoretheCrazy Huh? I'm confused...

  • @Akakata7 Have you watched Moonlit Bear? It explains it. Eve kidnaps the woman's children, and when she tries to get them back, Eve kills her.

  • @LenoretheCrazy Oh! Yeah, I saw that... Huh. I get it. Thanks!

  • I need someone to explain here... So when they were children they were abducted by miku and then miku killed their mother. So tell me if I'm wrong. The children are talking to their real parents (deceased I would guess) and they murder miku and kaito?

  • @frustrated456 When they killed the "Witch" and her "henchman", they didn't know that they killed their adoptive mother and father(Miku and Kaito). So that's why they keep talking to them.

  • @conan1904 thank you

  • This is the story(part 2)

Well...Miku really didn't kill on purpose thier mother(meiko)if you watch the moonlit bear the one that miku got was len and rin. len and rin grow up, Miku and kaito leave them in the forest ...As they walk wanting to get back home rin and len thought that the house was the witch house like in hansel and gretel so they killed the witch there and his henchman wiich they didn't know was there parent(not real parents)

  • @Vocaloid872 Ummm..How did Meiko die exactly?

  • @RinxLenKagaminelover miku killed meiko.

  • @vitiata How?

  • @RinxLenKagaminelover In moonlit bear, Eve (Miku) killed the bear/twin's mother/Meiko at the gunshot.

  • @KuroiNoOu OWO..So that's how Meiko died.....Tnx for the help!

  • @RinxLenKagaminelover miku stole mekios babys which were the twins. in a desperate battle for the children, she ended up killing meiko and raising the twins to think she was their 'real' mother. watch five the periot, it goes with this story of hansel and gretle.

  • @vitiata Yes, Yes, I know that but what I want to know is HOW MIKU KILLED MEIKO!!!!

  • @RinxLenKagaminelover Probably set the kids down and strangled Meiko with the cloak?

  • @HinataFan1111 Oukay./....owo

  • @RinxLenKagaminelover

m-miku accidetly killed her because she thought she was a bear >////u\\\\<

  • It's so sad when the y say "let's go see our "real"mother and father".

Their real mom was killed in first episode(moon lit bear)

  • this is exactly what miku gets for stealing someone else's children and killing their mother >.>

  • I think i finaly understand everything

Len&Rin were taken by Miku then abondoned in the forest;found their way home & killed their parents(Miku&Kaito); the mother(Miku)released the sins; (creating the Sin Series&Clockwork Series); the Sorceress(Luka) is trying to get all the sins back..Or something like that-i think-So confusing

BUT I love it!--Let's just not bring in the books/plays to this...i like it better the way the songs tell the stoy-besides the alternate names confuse me even moreXD

  • (M)aster (O)f (T)he (H)ellish (Y)ard

    MOTHY

    coolll

  • @xXRinLenKagamineXx Mothy is the Master of the Heavenly Yard.

  • @conan1904 W-WHAT!! I thought gumi is... ._.

  • @xXRinLenKagamineXx Gumi is the Master of the Hellish Yard.

  • @conan1904 oh....i must have mistaken heavenly for hellish...my bad

  • For those of you who are confused: go on the Vocaloid wiki (google it and it should show up), and search up "The Evillous Chronicles". That should explain this series, the Seven Deadly Sins series, Clockwork lullaby and a few others.

  • Master of the Heavenly Yard creates such complex songs ;w;

  • I don't know who comes up with these vocaloid stories, but please tell him/her that s/he is a mad genius for me.

  • @devisterre Um, just saying, Mothy or AkunoP (with Aku meaning evil in jap) created the wonderfully intricated web of songs on the Seven Sins, and he was also the creator of another series that was mildy linked into this, called "Pere Noel".

  • Kaito, ur almost as bad as Len, stop dying! Geez, u actually DID get killed by len!

  • Some of the lyrics provide a little background on why the parents abandoned them. For example:

"Will we be able to eat lots of our favorite snacks?" Basically saying "Will we eat something?" The family couldn't even feed themselves.

"Will God be waiting for us down this path?" It's pretty obvious that this is a euphemism for death, maybe one that was commonly used in the family, in which case this means the parents already thought about their deaths.

There's probably a lot more but I'm too lazy.

  • @captchaluff more! ;w; please?

  • @captchaluff Actually when they say those things it's because that's what Kaito and Miku used to lure the kids in the forest. They promised them sweets and then later promised they would see God

  • @captchaluff Actually, IMO, Adam & Eve Moonlit can't accept that Hansel & Gretel is adopted. So, they decide to leave them in the forest since their don't want to kill their child.

  • is the glass bottle a refferance to regret message?

  • @OtakuMomokoHime Many people believe that. It's probably the bottle Rin contained the parchment letter to Len.

  • @mssunnify223 the more i pay attention the more the songs seem to built on top of one another...

  • which sin is this?

  • @GimmeTheCheezIts WRATH?

  • @GimmeTheCheezIts This isn't a sin. It's part of the Original Sin series. It's after Moonlit Bear and before Chrono Story.

  • did anyone else notice that at 2:01 to 2:05 it sounds like regret message?

  • @jlaforga723 guess wat, this is linked to the "Seven Deadly Sins", "Story of Evil" and "Clockworks" series

  • @KingStarfire Why is everything so convoluted??

  • @shitsululu ask Mothy

  • grimms märchen :3

  • so they killed kaito as well ha thats what you get for rapeing len sorry to the kaito fangirls

  • Well, this song was supposed to be the sequal to moonlit bear, but this song came out first. So, I guess moonlit bear is more like a prequal.

  • Killing and Getting killed- the Kagamines are pro at it

  • at least this easier to understand most of their series songs

  • this song scares me a little... O.o they pushed their parents in the oven and asked them to praise them (rin and len) let's face it. everybody here is insane :D

  • @asakura3abyss lol no they didn't push their parents in the oven they pushed miku and kaito in and they're asking meiko (thier mom) and their dad to praise them...hope that kinda helped ^^

  • @CPfangirl435 Lol ok :D tt makes perfect sense :D er... but the song still creeps me out :D

  • @HinataFan1111: I knew it was by Monty even before I read the comments.

So the daughter/Servant of evil (Pride) Is after the rest but before the clockwork series? *twitches* I am confusing myself.

Could you pm me the whole list order kudasai? I just watched Song of Satan so my brain is dead after watching this.

Monty is the king of mindscrew. This is more complex than Nazotoki. But awesome.

  • to cute i love it

  • rin and len u just killed your parents there dead now

  • Wait thus Is a series? Can sumone send me all this guys songs so I can figure it out?

  • @CodeMangaGirl I can PM you a list if you want to

  • @CodeMangaGirl It's not JUST a series. It's a chronicles. You have Original Sin series, Seven Deadly Sins, Story of Evil, and Clockwork Lullaby. This goes: moonlit bear, Abandonment on a Moonlit Night, Chrono Story|The Madness of Duke Venomania, Repulsive Food Eater Conchita, Story of Evil, The Tailor Shop on Enbizaki, Judgement of Corruption, Gift from the princess who Brought Sleep|Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, Mesesage of Regret, Re_Birthday|Clockworked/Spring-worked(powered?) Lullaby,

  • @CodeMangaGirl The Clockwork Doll, Re_Birthday, and Heartbeat Clocktower. In Seven Deadly Sins(Second set after first |), Story of Evil counts for the third set(Daughter/Servant of Evil, ect). They are all by Mothy, AKA Master Of The Heavenly Yard, AKA Akuno-P, and part f the Evillous Chronicles. If you search for Akuno-P on the Vocaloid Wikia, you can find the set with explanations of each song(My list is the correct order), and songs that are part of the series, like the series, ect, as well

  • @CodeMangaGirl as information on the Chronicles and what goes on when. The names of all the characters mentioned in all the songs. Like, in this, you have Hansel and Gretel(Len/Rin), Eve Moonlit(Miku), and Adam Moonlit(Kaito). It's a facinating series taking place over a timespan of 1000 years. There will be one more song coming out--It'll represent Wrath and be by GUMI. People think it's The Last Revolver, but they are wrong. Amazing series, keep listening!

  • why does Len dominate the song? lol

  • @123naruhina he dominates EVERY song he is in, just by being Len

  • @kaialone XD that and his voice SOMEHOW over powers Rin.

  • COuld this be connected with moonl- oh *looks at video responses*

  • Oh I assumed that they thought Meiko and their father was the witch and henchman, not Miku and Kaito.

  • it's like hansel and Grete;!!

  • never mid i got it...XD

  • Really its like someone HAS to dislike it?

  • i cried 1 hour ago.

  • @kissess48 why does this video had a henchman???????

  • In my view, I think the forest will slowly turn anybody in it crazy. The more you are in it, the more crazy you become. Rin and Len were probably in there alot, which is partially what drove them into killing the "witch" and "henchman". Miku was also in there alot, which caused her to believe that Rin and Len were "fruit" and that Meiko was a "bear".

  • While it is definitely a parody/reference to Hansel & Gretel, a lot of it is just continuation from Moonlight Bear. For whatever reason, Kaito & Miku abandoned Rin and Len. Most likely they had previously figured out that they weren't their real parents (possibly knowing what Miku did to Meiko) and killed them out of revenge for the death of their parent/s and bitter attitude towards their abandonment and possibly harsh treatment (Miku probably still had her delusional moments).

  • They are ALL lunatics!!! Rin and Len, Miku, they are all crazy, that's the point. >_>

  • So the story is basically Miku steals Meiko's kids and murders her because she was crazy o_o? And Kaito and her decided to raise these kids until they couldn't take it anymore? Then Rin and Len go back to find them and they kill Miku and Kaito? o_o such a sad twisted ending...

  • @OmgKaitokun well miku was crazy and thought len and rin were her own children who died and finally she was normal again so she and kaito raised them and after all the guilt they left them in the woods and the twin found out about the truth and found their way home and killed miku and kaito creating a new life

  • (while listening to the song)

Rin: I defeated the evil witch

    Me: yay!

Len I defeated her henchman as well!

    Me: whaaa??

Len: it's almost like me stayed here before

Me: OMG THEY KILLED MIKU AND KAITO!!!

  • Hansel and Gretel, much? Two twins, boy and girl. 'Let us burn the evil witch in an oven.' Seriously.

  • @Zlaea Funnily enough, mothy did actually name Rin and Len's characters in this song Gretel and Hansel. it was entirely intentional, and mothy does appear to have a love of twisting fairy tales. His song 'Flames of a Yellow Phosphorous' appears to be based off 'A Little Match Girl', only more depressing somehow.

  • love the song ><!!

  • This song is part of a series. It goes:

    Moonlit Bear

    The Tale of Moonlit Abandonment

    Chrono Story

Miku lost her own kids, finds Meiko's and steals them, killing her in a state of insanity. Thus Kaito & her in the end raised them. Plauged with guilt they abandon them and when Len & Rin return they think they're the witch & henchman (from the Hansel & Gretel story) & kill them. They then split Miku's sin into 7, releasing it into the forest and Luka is sent to track it down.

  • @LenLovesCookies424 So basically.....everyone goes insane except Kaito.

  • @LenLovesCookies424

And after that, the 7 deadly sin series begins.

  • @StarleePie47 My favorite in that series is Luka's Tailor Shop song :3

    Crazy Luka FTW X3

  • @LenLovesCookies424

All of Mothy's songs always involv someone going crazy.

  • @LenLovesCookies424 There's more to it than that. The 7 sins that got cut up were put...into(?) people part by part. Meiko got the part of gluttony...all of that. But the series is split into parts: 1st part is the Moonlit Bear-thing series, then comes the Seven Deadly Sins, then Clockwork Lullaby...you probably knew that ,already, just saying it's way more complicated than just 1st song, 2nd song, 3rd song.

  • so whats actually going on? o.o

  • @ohdamnitsdelilah in the first miku accidently kidnapped kids, thinking thir a fruit i belive and kills their mother, in here i'm not sure if mikus the mom or not but the new parents take the kid versons of the twins out into the forest then the twins find out their not their parents, they find their way back 'home' and kill the fake parents then set out to find their real parents but i don't know after that

  • @sam198236

How could anyone possibly mistake children for apples. The apples in Moonlit Bear were a sort of analogy for children, and apples represent temptation and Miku stole them. Meiko was their mother, but Miku killed her and raised Rin and Len as her own. But then she ditched them in the forest. They went insane, and when they found their old home they confused Miku for a witch and burned her or wanted revenge for being abandoned; then they killed themselves to be with their real parents..

  • @ShinyBrick yeah i know now, i got this confused at first, but thank you for explaining

  • causing them to be angry , calling miku a Witch them mother cause that a name to be owned ,and Kaito the hench man for always listening and following the sins of the Witchs Placing them self as a fable story they understand the only way Hasel and Gretel got rid of them was to burn the evil witch [Sinner] and kill the henchman [follower] causing them to try renew to the live trying to forget the life they live with them and forget the sin they cause , and forgetting they found they found Meiko

  • @ProjectCutie Have you seen Moonlight bear by Miku? She's not a witch,I think she's just gone crazy because her kids died so she stole Len and Rin who were in the woods[Meiko was getting food or sometihng]

  • @MisoSoupGP *sigh deeply* Yes i have seen 'Moonlight Bear ', but did i not explain this clearly enough ?

  • I really dont think the killed them from revenge for leaving them there , my mother told me as a child to stay in an place where is very dark & scary and left me there for a long time but it was for my own protection . And they are children who lived in a forest so they must have playing in the forest alot making them very familiar so they can come home. And its most likely they weren't sent out cause theres no food It was miku&kaitos guilt and When len&rin must have found there mothers body ..

  • o.o i dont get it how did they kill there parents?

  • @princessnisey2 well there "adoptive" parents were miku and kaito. they pushed miku into the oven;im not shure abought kaito tho.

  • @princessnisey2 Miku and Kaito left them in the middle of the forest for what ever reason (lack of food and money to support them, most likely), and they remembered it was just like the story of Hansel and Gretel. They followed a path and assumed that the house they came across was the "witch" from the story, and that the man and woman were the witch and her henchman. Because of that, Rin threw Miku into the oven and Len bashed Kaito's skull in.

  • So wait... The 'witch' turns out to be Miku, and her 'henchman' is Kaito? What the heck kinda nonsensical nonsense is all this?!

  • @HeartlessSolider have you watched Moonlit bear?

  • @kaialone

I've watched everything now, and I believe it makes a hell of a lot more sense... Do you get it?

  • @HeartlessSolider I think so. But there are still gaps that need to be filled. Like the mistery of Santa and Pere Noel, and the Wrath song still needs to be released too.

  • @kaialone

    Oh, most definitely...

I'm really happy that Gumi's going to be singing "Wrath", that oughtta be awesome.

By the way, do you know what the differences between the original songs and the 'Velvet mixes'?

  • @HeartlessSolider I think the "Velvet Mixes" are just remakes with better sound quality. You see when mothy first made the "Evil" songs he wasnt very famous,so I think he probably remixed them in honour of these songs that mad ehim "famous". Thought he official PVs of the Velvet mixes have some quotes in them, said by characters that dont appear directly in the story.Theyre in japanese though

  • @kaialone

Which really sucks. But I suppose since they aren't any different, it's alright.

  • @ayumi9696 you need t watch "moonlit bear " first watch?v=BgL5xXH5zEM&feature=related

If you still dont get it after that feel free to ask me to explain in detail

  • This is connected to moonlit bear as at the end of moonlit bear a small tune of this song is played. After this song it it chrono story.

    so the order is

    Moonlit Bear

    Abandon Excerpts Moonlight

    Chrono Story

  • I think it IS connected to Moonlit Bear. Here's my translation of things: Kaito and Miku left the twins in the forest after raising them for a while, probably since Kaito felt guilty about their mom and couldn't take pretending to them anymore. In the forest while the twins are lost, maybe somehow Meiko appeared to them (as the moon? A light?) and told them what Miku had done to her. So they go back home, guided by Meiko's light, and kill the witch (Miku, coz she was the one who killed their mo

  • @sealand826 True, and also note the "glass bottle" I think its the same as the one Meiko had in "Moonlit bear

  • So it's... moolight bear, then this song, then Chrono Story, right?

  • Kaito? WHY??? WHYYYYYYY??????!

  • I didn't see this as connected to moonlit bear at all. For me, rin and len's parents abandon them in the forest. They make their way home through the forest without realizing it and kill their mother and father, who are the witch and the henchman. Thus the "real" mother and father at the end is the moon.

If this was tied to moonlit bear, the twins would be younger and meiko would have abandoned them instead of having them taken away.

  • @ShyBlueAngel No this is after Meki died and Miku and Kaito have been raising Rin and Len for a while,no idea why they leave em behing now, maybe they couldnt bear (no pun intended) to raise them while knowing all the time that theyre not their patents and killed their real motehr.

  • @kaialone The two parents at the beginning don't really look like Miku or Kaito, thus why I am less inclined to believe your side, though it may be valid and the artist for the PV just decided to do a different take on the story.

  • @ShyBlueAngel Even if you don't see it, theres a connection, mothy intended that...listen to the very end of moonlit bear and you'll see!

  • @ShyBlueAngel no, if you look at it, you can see the storyline... miku stole the twins from meiko, and left her for dead, but she survived. however, later on, miku and kaito couldnt care for them anymore(?), so left them in the woods, where they found meiko, mistanking her for a witch and killing her. her henchman was probably her husband. plus, this song starts with the same tune the other ends with

  • @darkwings16 no the witch that was killed was miku. they talk about how the person they killed stole fruit and had sin and stuff in the next song so....

  • sucha sad song. i fell like their parents deserved it though. I love how the last line of the song, their parents is the moon wh protected and guided them out of the woods. Nothing matters as long as the have each other

  • So let me get this straight. They were led to the forest and was soon abandoned only to come back home and killed off the henchmen (kaito) and the evil witch (miku) who were their supposed parents. But they already knew that they weren't their children hence the part where they say, "let's go find our real parents"

  • ok one im sorry hansel and gretel and two i didnt know the witch had a henchman o.O thats cool

  • @xxMelodyxx in hansel and gratal the witch did have a henchman ...her henchman was a beautiful bird which brought them to the witch s house

  • wonder what use of that bottle thing~

    oh well, it's a nice song... ^^

  • wait... Meiko is the real mother, she's dead.... RINA ND LEN ARE GONN AKILL THEMSELF AFTER THEY KILLED MIKU AND KAITO!!

  • @sofitssofi That...THAT FLIPPIN' MAKES SENSE.

"Come, let's go see our 'real' mother and father."

    O.o

  • @HazelLullaby you sarcastic -_-
