I'm pretty sure that this is a song about 'friends with benefits' who have slept around quite a bit, but the girl gets a boyfriend, and the guy wasn't too worried for this had happened before, but this time she leaves him for dead. Thing is, the guy wants to convince himself that she still loves him once he comes to the realization that he is, in fact, in love with her. He tries so hard to get over her, but eventually goes mad over this girl, and ends up committing suicide without any hope.

@chrissyyjayy As much as I love them, I don't think they can top ALIR because that album was SO amazing and everyone has such high expectations after that. :/ I still love them without jason, but honestly without him I dont know if they can get to that point again. One can only hope, though

@OhNoItzEMMA I thought Anywhere but Here was an amazing album. The Valdosta EP was good, the acoustic versions were awesome, Terrible Things is amazing but Amber Lynn is ehh. They're still an amazing band nonetheless, with or without Jason. Derek can still carry his vocals pretty well.

the new album will probs be ok... but just okay. I mean, I think most people know that Jason Lancaster wrote most of, if not all on A Lesson in Romantics, which has been by far MP's best album so far, and he's with Go Radio now, which is also an amazing band. I don't think they'll ever be able to top ALIR without Jason... but here's hoping to a good album nonetheless!
