@maszlagma Craig was an alcoholic and more than a bit of a mess. He spent time in a London rehab and has been clean for nearly 20 years...but he was a mess for a very long time. Black out drunk, suicidal...if you get a chance, read his book "American on Purpose" and he talks in great detail about all of that stuff.

The point I was making is that Craig is still both Scottish and American.

You could get British citizenship, live in the nation-states of either England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland - but you'd never be English, Welsh, Scottish or Irish.

That's why there isn't an American nation - but I suspect there will become one, and to be fair it's already happening :)
