  • My nephew has CF, and he uses the vest, in conjunction with medication and enzymes. The vest works well. It helps loosen the mucus in the lungs so he can get it out. He has to wear it twice a day -- I think for 15 to 20 minutes, but I'm not sure. You should ask your doctor.
