@janisrealtor Just pick up a stitch from either end of the knitting - which ever end you think will hide it the best (I normally do it straight away, that way I don't forget to do it!
Oh, thank you so much for this video! It's the only place I've found that addresses what to do with the loose end of the good yarn. Everyone just says .. "knit into the crochet cable".. and I was at a loss. This was perfect!
I found this while browsing and was fascinated - what I want to know is - what would you use this technique for? why would you need the double needles (one on each end) ?
@sansmayhem You can use it anywhere you would want live stitches on both sides of the CO edge - for example a short row toe for a toe-up sock. Some people like to totally match their CO and BO edges, by using a provisional cast on and then immediately binding off the stitches again!
if you have one less stitch on other end how do you remedy that if you are making a scarf for example?
