if you compare developed nations by how well they're doing on every aspect of a society, from life expectancy, teen pregnancy, mental health, crime rates etc EVERYTHING. the USA is the worste in the developed world on almost everything, and if it's not THE worst, it's one of the worste. countries like sweden, denmark and norway which take a completely different attitude to life are the best on everything. the UK is following you across the atlantic instead of the guys right next door.
