I was a Sophmore living on campus in October of 96' when the Calabasas fire jumped the fire line and headed for Pepperdine. One min they were saying go to the Cafeteria the next they said if you have a car get it out of lower dorm parking. The 3 hours it took in my convertible to get to friends in the valley was the longest of my life. Convertible tops and fire don't play well together! ;-) it's scary, exciting, exhilarating, and terrifying all at once. An experience you'll never forget!
