@exovoxrock this song is about when kurt was a christian in his younger days, when he was living with a friend of his. the reed family would take kurt to church. and he became a christian, later he was buddist from time to time. thats where Nirvana got their name. kurt was watching some late tv show, and changed the band name. but, after going to church, christian paraboles continued to be in his music up until his death. but yeah, his songs definitly have a storyline.

The music had such energy and power, I remember the crowd being so forceful with heaps of crowd surfing & stage diving, we had waited so long for music like this which spoke directly to us & our experience. Pat Smear was an extra guitarist for this concert. But on the unplugged, Kurt intruduces him as their "new guitar player" and is credited on the Unplugged album. He was an actual member of the band after that until Kurt later died. And on wikipedia he's put in as an additional musician. But yes, Pat was a band member but not long enough to consider it being that he never cut a studio album with Nirvana. So some would say "your not a band member until you cut an album with the band".
