Rubbish game though, and for the person who devised this 'game': What is your definition of a catapault? Because this sure isn't one!
AH, watching this makes me remember the good old saturday nights during the winter (I was six when this series aired) when we could curl up on the couch and watch gladiators. It ensures I am forever a kid :)
galdiators was wicked..but with events like this..its no wonder that ratings dropped...the calssic events like duel pyramid gauntlet are always the best
Most boring game ever. Why even bother having gladiators there? I don't think the ability to bounce up and down on string is really all that gladiator like.

Women took part in this event twice and men only took part in this event once and all were split events.

This has to be the worst event I've ever seen!
What's the point of even having the gladiators there? All the contender has to do is wait for them to bounce out of the way and try to make the shot!

I think this event looks cool. It's a matter of timing and accuracy that counts in scoring.
