  • well maybe if he used a different ink they used for a actual DTG printer it might come out really awesome, just a idea .

  • this is very exciting . I mean this technology is in its infancy and it prints with such clarity! Dude check it out: Writers dont need publishers anymore, musicians dont need recording labels, and now its our turn .regular people can afford this . i bet silk screen printers are shakin in thier boots

  • Awesome. Nearly went crazy trying to convert a 1280. It would initiate and run thru it's routine, but no print! Can Chroma inks be loaded into the refillable cartridges?

  • how does this do with washing though? Need special waterproof ink I would imagine, or your nice shirt would disappear in the wash!

  • It seems like you know a lot of things in regards to DTG. So what's a decent to good quality DTG out there, for a Noob like myself, to get started with? I"m thinking about getting into the Printed T-shirts industry. Maybe start my own brand and/or printing to organizations...what are your thoughts.   • hi i've just buy a new printer to defuse it.

    it's a lexmark, if think it should work with it too. Can you post a link to u'r yahoo group, i don't find it. is there some particular precaution for Unsettle the printer?

  • You should know that in order to use dye inks, the Tshirt must be pretreated with something like Bubblejet Set or the ink will all wash out. But dye inks will fade in the sunlight.

    Epsons are much better for this because there are inks made for printing on garments without requiring pretreatment.
