  • Help i only have number 1 but not 2 in the boot tab though i have a duel core heeeeeeeeellpppppp

  • doing this you are disabling intel turbo boost technology! i don't recomend it

  • Does this any damage to my CPU?

    Got a Intel Core i7 960 3.20Ghz

  • Lol, these CPUS are already in use, this is used to detect if a core is malfunctioning by selecting core by core until you find the broken core. Silly kids and their multi processor placebos

  • It got a little bit more tight but still long.. win7 is already the fastest boot windows..

    well except win98..

  • Well, now I can boot with all 6 cores. Thank you.

  • Windows 7 automatically uses all cores available at boot. This is merely a test/debug feature that did "the rounds" last year.

  • @Brumskis

nope it uses only 1 core in default mode

  • i take IT class at Kaplan University. your computer use all core already. that setting is for if you do not want all core going on boot up. it will not make it any faster. it can make it slower.

  • I didn't notice and difference from 1 core to 4.

  • This actually won't change anything

  • nice! didnt knew about this before :D

  • thanks worked for me ! i have a quad core at 2.4 GHz and i enabled all four cores

  • sweet!!

  • just tried it

i still boot up in 41 seconds

  • @CRAKIZGOOD What windows do you have?

  • @TheComputerTechGuy

    win7 64bit

    did u try it out?

  • @TheComputerTechGuy

    win7 64bit

    did u try it out?

  • @CRAKIZGOOD well i have 32bit win7 i did notices that it boot it up a few seconds faster on my laptop

  • @TheComputerTechGuy

okay you just went to a video saw it took it made it yours and u you think your the man

WHY ISNT BOTH OF MY CORES ENBLED STILL IM STILL USING JUST FUKING 1.8GHZ WEN IM SUPPOSE TO HAVE DOUBLE THE SIZE HAAA EXPLAIN YOU IDIOT

  • @CRAKIZGOOD could be that something other then the cpu is limiting the boot time... if you've got a low rpm boot drive or low ram that could be whats slowing it all down.

  • @CRAKIZGOOD same by boot up is same with 4 cores or 1 core a

  • wow never knew this
