I am very proud of the Binis because of the way they cherish and guard the rich cultural heritage of the Bini Kingdom. This pleasure helped to perfect great UNIBEN as my choice of tertiary institution years ago. Though from the east of the Niger, I love the Binis with a palpable passion. Good video
Thank you, for putting this video on You Tube. My Mother came from Benin City in 1950 to london and she has always told me about this. She told me that she would go into the place and dance for the OBA. i show my mother this video and she smiled as she was very happy to see her people. THANK YOU
Love the chief's staff of office. This is very amazing. I am amazed at the entire outfit, the headgears. Extremely beautiful. I completely agree, Respect, nothing less.
BENIN wasn't a Kingdom in acient times, it was an empire extending from OKAH and ONITSHA in recent Anambra state, all through the DELTA and EDO regions to the recent day BENIN Republic via many of the recent day ONDO, southern part of OGUN and the whole of LAGOS states. Nevertheless, these places have been lost to the Igbos (in the east) and the Yorubas (in the west) due to inter marriages and occupations. Many thanks (rather blames) to the British colony. The king of Benin is often paid homages
This is so beautiful, I am proud to an African but I just drop the American part.
