  • yah Gary. Good for you congratulations!!!! you look great keep it up.

  • Wow, the truth. Thank–you.

  • I started the wheat-free life on Sunday 1/29. This seems like such a simple change to make, and I commend you for sticking with it. The book is very informative; it is technical in places. I am glad I'm in nursing and have previously read The Zone. You don't really need to understand all the lingo; just lose wheat! (By the way, I have already dropped 4 pounds in a week.) Here's to our continued journey towards better health!

  • You look great! I stopped eating wheat (and processed sugar) 12 days ago and I've lost nine pounds already. And effortlessly! No strenuous exercise, no starvation... I've simply lost my appetite and cravings. Any well-stocked grocery store has wheat-free products, including chips, pretzels, cookies, pasta and baking flour. I'm so happy I discovered a wheat-free world!

  • Wow, he's trapped in one of those Superman II squares :(

    Grats, btw.

  • Hi Gary you look really well - congrats. I think the book sounds really good as well and I hope I can repeat your experience as I am not far away from your weight. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  • Wheat belly helped me loose 15lbs in 3 weeks, and still going, but its hard since grain is everywhere

  • Congratulations, you look great! I've just finished reading the book and my hubby and I are starting a wheat free diet this week. Question: Did you just quit wheat (did you eat other grains like spelt?)

  • Inspirational, to say the least.

  • Yeah its really amazing .... I need to lost some few weight too ... BUT

  • Wow...amazing....well done :)

  • Congratulations, that is a great accomplishment.

  • Thanks, tripleleo. This is solely the result of the diet. I play in a men's ice hockey league and have for about 10 years and that is about it exercise-wise. Nothing changed but my following the advice in Wheat Belly. I feel great - much more energy! Being wheat-free has had a lot of other positive health effects for me as well. It is a game changer!

  • An amazing change, congratulations. How are you feeling in terms of cognition etc? Did you exercise regularly, or is this pretty much the result of a changed diet?
