  • Like why do they still use round shoots?

  • yeahhh.... um. SOF tested these but we dont use them. i wonder why.

  • What's the song of this video please? ^^

  • I didn't jump the T11 during AB school, after the death of the jumper with the T11 at Ft Bragg they only jumped us from the T10D. Even in our unit jumps we jumped only the T10D, landing sucks. I would personally like to jump the T11, 200lb guy here could use a softer landing.

  • We never jumped above 800ft agl unless it was a hollywood, and almost never jumped during daylight....82nd 80-84

  • MC6!!

  • id jump it, ive only jumped T10D

  • The use of the T-11 has been suspended after fatalities at ft. Bragg.

  • @sablatnic 1 fatality. Officially those two were unrelated. T 11 has completely different deploying system. T-10 are far more reliable at this point.

  • I would have loved to try the T-11.I hated the -1 Bravos because I always had a bad landing, the old T-10s was my favorite.

  • @reddevilparatrooper Yea man, the -1b was good for intanglements because guys would steer em into each other.....T10 mass tac...atw

  • Too bad this is bullshit. When these first came out a couple years ago..they grabbed a bunch of privates from my battalion who were the first to jump them.

  • I wish they would of had these new T11's when I was still in.

  • How come I never get a C-17?

  • Sir, please put your tags UNDER your undershirt. Thank you.

  • 1:36 Specialist, you have bird shit on your beret. Jesus.

  • 2:58 Sir, your dogtag chain is clearly showing. :(

  • How many feet do you jump out of the aircraft and at what altitude in feet do you deploy the chute?

  • @hydrobot2003 Conventional Forces (XVIII Corps used T-10 parachutes) normally jump from 1000 ft. The AGL Basic Airborne Course uses T-10 and T-11 and they jump from 1250 ft. AGL Special Operations Forces use MC-6 and MC-4 parachutes. MC-6 (steerable) is normally jumped from 1000 ft. AGL but can be jumped much higher. MC-4 is a military free fall parachute and can be jumped from as high as 25,000 ft AGL. Check out our website for more information on Soldier Parachutes.

  • @USArmyPEOSoldier 800 feet AGL.

  • @USArmyPEOSoldier Yea, they also TELL you that it's always 5 knot wind ;)

  • what type of parachutes airborne uses and how many feet up do they jump from?

  • @hydrobot2003

What I used in school and some"regular"army fields of work continue2use the T-10series of parachutes. My unit has a habit of using the MC1-1series of parachutes.Difference is that the MC1-1has toggles that make it slightly easier2maneuver the chute during descent where the T-10 u have2manually pull risers down2maneuver.What this video is showing u is the new line of parachutes thatll replace the T-10 series by slowing down the jumpers rate of descent&providing toggles4maneuvering.

  • @hydrobot2003

I dont know when I will get to use one yet. I am just slowly finding out about this.

  • @hydrobot2003 I was a rigger stationed at Bragg. The Army has the Sf-10, mc-1, t-10D, and now t-11. Typically all a paratrooper will use is the T-10, at least that's mostly all I jumped. I jumped the T-11 once. Good chute. At airborne school, you jump at 1250. At Bragg, all my jumps were 800-850ft. When jumping the MC-1, you jump around 1250 as well. I jumped that once for a rigger proficiency jump. It needs a higher altitude.
