(cont. from previous comment) I can see the promotional video if they make something like that. if they make that game with Namco, they can have Aya Brea fighting Jin Kazama then Aya does her Liberate technique then Jin turns into Devil Jin or if it's with Capcom maybe Aya goes head to head with Morrigan from Darkstalkers. Either way that would be better than another kingdom hearts game.

Actually, Square Enix is trying to cover(hide) this video game, just to give all credits and fame for final fantasy which is overrated from all the sides,

C'mon people, PE1 and PE2 were ones of the best video games ever made, PE1 released in 1998, PE2 2000, then suddenly this video game disappears from our sights, I even when I tell someone about PE, he says "haven't heard of it" though he is an RPG video gamer, 9-10 years has passed without anything about parasite eve at all!!

Which of the two Parasite Eve games you prefer is really subjective to what genre of games you prefer. I, for instance, do not care for RPG games or RPG elements in games non-RPG games. Personally, I hate RPGs for their tepid and awkward combat systems, complicated equipment management, tedious leveling up, and exquisitely poor gameplay. So due to these reasons, I prefer Parasite Eve Deux to the original because combat was more action based.

Totally agree, but I prefer PE1, it has scarier Story, maybe yea I hate RPG games (they are boring), but PE1 is really scary, the story is still stuck in my mind since 1998 !!, PE2 is poor from the story side compared to PE1, but for the graphics I prefer PE2, and another good thing about PE2 is that the scenes are clearer and more understandable, And back to rpg games, I say they are boring all what we can do is (Fight, upgrade, Fight, upgrade, Fight), but for PE it is special !!

I'm with you! I think SquareEnix is wrong on leaving Parasite Eve just like that. I used to dislike PE when it first came out because I thought it was a Resident Evil copy (Jill Valentine+blonde dye=Aya) but when I played it, I fell in love with that game. I enjoy Final Fantasy but I think doing crossovers with Mickey Mouse and company is now overated. If SquareEnix wants to do crossovers they should do it with either Capcom or Namco.

Kingdom Hearts are an amazing group of games. But then again, so are FF and PE. I absolutly LOVED PE1 and PE2, was well happy to hear there is going to be a third one. Even as a spin off.

in a producers mind, a very old franchise previous to ps2 that hardly reached greatest hits label, and that is more than 10 years old, itll be a huge risk to port it for ps3, and the development costs for ps2 would also be high, so its more simple to do a cheap cellphone game, however, fans demanded more, so cuz the game was already started , itll be awfully complicated to improve from a cellphone game to a ps2 one, so it was just ported for psp, if it succeeds it can later be ported for ps2

I know. But still it has a stong fan base which could be exploited. Parasite Eve doesn't sale as much as Final Fantasy but still worth a try to revive the franchise. Take Metal Gear for example with only 2 games for the NES (3 if you include Snake's Revenge), sure it was an underated game back in the NES days but then MGS came out for the PlayStation and it became a success. Parasite Eve can go from underdog to top dog status.

as i told you, you are right, it has a lot of fans, but the company cant know how many they have, cuz most of the fans got the game as a back up copy and the title hardly reached gh label, especially pe2, it didnt reached it at all, the creator of the series surely knows this and wanted to revive the series, but cuz what i said earlier, he couldnt, so probably tought the only way to allow him a continuation, it would be as a cellphone game, he knew fans will ask it on psp, so was made psp ready

You are Completely right, but all we want and the 1st step to make parasite eve the best Video game ever,  is when the PE team leave the stupid company called Square Enix (read my previous comments) it can even delete Final fantasy from the history of video games, but Square Enix is not paying attentions to this Legendary Video game

Well, the cellphone that this game was being made was a lot worst than the PSP and the PS2 development costs are more cheaper than the PSP, so i think they choose the PSP by the same reason they cancelled the PS2 version of Dissidia and remade to the PSP.

I think this would be the cast for the Parasite Eve movie. (including some characters from the second game) Aya Brea/Kristen Kreuk or Jessica Alba, Eve/Megan Fox, Daniel/ Samuel L. Jackson, Rupert/Denzel Washington, No.9/Snoop Dogg, Dr. Klamp/Steven Seagal, Maeda/Jet Li. That's all I can come up. I know its wack as hell but hey if Kristin Kreuk played Chun Li she might as well do Aya.

I own both, gameplay wise the 1st is way better. they pretty much droped most of the good rpg content for classic survival horror RE style gameplay, which was a bad move.

PE2 is great, but PE1 is better.
