@peaceluvtaco You don't "need" psp, many comic and graphic novel makers are successful in traditional layout.

psp is just a media many ppl prefer over traditional but ether way it all starts out with pencil and paper.

Great job on the backgrounds too! When I draw my backgrounds..they usually turn out terrible, especially with trees.( Exusing my username, I'm not really epic )

is it very hard to do all of the detailing on the ground and stuff? it looks like you put a lot of work into the background. I also noticed that at 4:22 the trees were a solid color and then all of a sudden they were all ..."detaily"... is that hard as well? amazing work. I really am awestruck.

the trees... hmm nah i use the same stratigy to detail them as i do the ground and the characters.

i reduce the opacity(if i spelled that cerectly)then "scrible" over the first layer with a lighter version of the same color and use smudge tool to blend it.

same style for alot of my objects in the pages.

I do have one question that I hope you'll answer. When you stop on day 1 with the characters if you saved it before you stopped how did you save it so it wouldn't get a solid color background?I try and try with my photoshop to figure it out but can't. I just don't have time to do both characters and background art in one day. I try to save it so the background stays transparent, but it saves automatically with a solid white background. Do you have any suggestions?

your prob new to "layers".

layers are normaly located on the right hand side of your screen and are used to seperate one ...lyear from another.

exmple--i draw my "wolves on layer 2" then i add another layer and draw on that one,giving me two seperate pages overlaped-

to make it simple think of them as saran wrap--draw a background on one peace than put another sheet of it over the last one and add the characters. ill pm u a few seemingly helpfull tuts.

im always free to help out its no prob!

I have a Bamboo tablet myself that's really affordable and its easy to use.

Also, there's a huge difference in line quality between the programs and there are more features.
