LSU was extremely lucky they won that game.
We had a Lou Grozaand award winner place kicker and he missed 2 easy field goals. Those 2 go in then we win the game and go on to take LSU place in the SEC title game.
However past is past and I'm focusing on the future.

First off, you cant what if points left on the field. Hell I can do that: Your first touchdown came off an interception on the LSU 7 yard line. Take that away, and the game may not have been close. So if you want to rant out being better you have to look at the total body of work before you can make that claim.

The first field goal that your Groza winning kicker missed came off of field position taken from an interception. Manning couldnt move the ball that was handed to him on the LSU 35 yard line, and Ole Miss was forced to attempt an easy field goal.

you have to base the future off something from recent events. Not from things that took place in 2003.
And recent events show that LSU is on a downhill slide and Ole Miss is on the rise.

ESPN had LSU #1 and Scout has them with a higher star ranking then everyone except OSU.

That never happens if Pereilloux doesn't get dismissed before the season. Besides isn't that the first win over LSU in like 7 years or something like that. "OM on the rise" I'd hope so because its pretty hard to do worse than 0-8 in the SEC the previous year. "LSU on the decline" its pretty hard to do better than a national championship the year before. When has OM won anything in any sport?

congrats, OM is now 1-6 against LSU in the last 7 years. Is 1 for 7 against a rival worth bragging about? OM had a mediocre year with a bowl win against a mediocre TT team. Is that really a great accomplishment. I guess at OM that is banner hanging material. On second thought I would be bragging also before the inevitable happens and OM takes its rightful spot as the doormat of the SEC.
