@MrAirsoftkings101 I see, it goes lik this, spectator shuffles the deck but doesent choose he card. then you do the counting to 21. 22 card will be the spectators card, no mather what it will be. and then you do the up down thingi until 1 card left.

Issit.. if the 2 pile of cards... example.. i get a pile started with 3 then i must put another 7 cards? & the another pile of cards.. i get 10, then means i no need to put any cards cause is already 10.. then the middle part u put it.. example.. the 2 piles of cards + the middle 1 that u put = 21 cards? then the 22nd card is the spectator chosen card??

Fuckin amazing. Whoever figured out the Math aspect is brilliant.

It really always comes out to 21 cards no matter what. And the trick is so easy once you figure it out. I feel like i don't deserve to perform it though. I would have never found that out on my own.

I have a variation of this trick, except it uses 3 columns. Count the cards face up until you face 26 but remember the 7th one. Lay aside that pack (let's call it pack "a") and pick up the other pack. place down a card face up, let's say a 5, then lay cards face down to add up to ten, just like what you did in the column part of you trick, except you use 3 columns.

its similar to a game on the internet "amazing mind reader" what happens is if u say have an 8 u put down 2 cards, but then count 8 more down so that u get rid of 11 cards(including the 8) if u had 7 u put down 3, which is one more than 8 but only count 7 which is one less so (including the 7) u count down 11 cards again. the amazing mind reader says 67, 6+7 = 13 subtract 13 54, if u had 68 u start one higher but u go one more down so u end at 54 and u always get a number divisble by 9.

@DudeGuyNimNim ok...you have to make each pile equal 10. So, you have an 8 then you put 2 cards on it (8+2=10) and a 9 (put 1 card on it, 9+1=10) then you add 8 and 9 (17) and count down that many cards. THAT card will be the 22 card every time

I did it and got two 4's either side, so I did 5,6,7,8,9,10 to both sides, went for the 8th card....and it didn't work :/ did I do something wrong?

@martywylde i just did that trick and all my stuff added up to 21 ill explain so each pile has 7 so 7+7= 14 then the 2 4's add 8 so u count to 8 and the 8th is the card and you just added 7 cards to the pile so 14+7=21 hope this helps :)

When you get down to the final 6 cards the force card should be third from the bottom which means that if we turn the cards upside down and perform an Asciano spread that shows what the "5 cards" are. The spectator wont see their card because it will be hidden below the second card. This makes the trick even more impressive when it turns up at the end. The spectator wont realise your about to count 6 cards out.

hey everyone i thought of a little twist you could do to make it more interactive and surprising. after forcing the card have them deal the cards out to themselves first (like you were going to play a game). after finished look at your cards and tell them you dont like your cards and to re-deal with the cards in your pile. do this until you have only 1 card. and then tell them i think i know what card you picked.

i guess you could mix it up however you like to add some twists

Its not nice to do math forces coz' when you shuffle the deck, the set-up gets all messed up. You should only use this force if your not good at the point force. though this one's nice, spectators don't like wierd an unusual ways in getting their card so you should just stick with the classic ones. Good idea though...

Have The Spectator Shuffle The Cards

Tell them you are going to make 2 piles, counting to 10. Picture cards are worth 10.

In the video, the two cards were each 5s, so we went 6,7,8,9,10 on top of each. Then add The values of the cards 5+5=10 Then tell the spectator the 10th card down will be their card. By doing this, you will ALWAYS force the 22nd card. Then place the 21 cards on top of their card and start UP-DOWN every time.
