I have a question: I would like to attempt my own first video, for which I wanted to do a crossover with the Wives and Daughter trailer and characters from another movie. However, I discovered that there is no official WaD trailer.
I was wondering if you would allow me to use the audio from your trailer as the background for my crossover? I completely understand if you would not like me to, as I am sure you put many hours of thought and work into this, but I figured it would not hurt to try.

@lellbelle It's actually by Elizabeth Gaskell, a contemporary of Charlotte Bronte, who, consequently, also wrote one of the more acknowledged biographies of Ms. Bronte. In addition to several other novels, she also wrote both North and South and Cranford. NaS and WaD I absolutely LOVE! I have yet to see Cranford, but it's on my, very long, to-watch list. I highly recommend this film if you do, as you say, love Austen and Bronte adaptations!
@Gemmabellalizzieanne you really ought to watch Cranford! I've the box set, and it's just as beautifully done as the other two. It also has Michael Gambon, haha.
ok last time i saw a moive like this i liked it but the ending i didn't like (he died in the end).... am sorry to say i like a happy ever after end so can some tell me if this has a happy ending
@darkangeABBY Yes. I watched only the ending a decade ago and it stuck with me all these years. I kept trying to figure out which film it was and a few months ago, I found it. Now I need to go and watch the whole thing. hehehe
i thought this was a brilliant trailer! in fact, i was wondering when id get to hear a male baritone voiceover in an american accent before i read the comments and realised you put this together yourself. well done.
@Skipmaus worl, you know how voiceovers for almost every trailer, be it something from the US or the UK, is almost always done by a male with an american accent... you know the kind of thing... read this in a dramatic american accent- ''molly thought her life was perfect... until her father took another wife'' cue poignant scenes where molly's running in a field away from her house. or something. anyway, your trailer's made me watch this again.
I watched a part of this when I was a kid about a decade ago on tv and after a few years I was haunted by the last scene in the rain then Africa. I have been trying to find what mini series this was with no luck. But now that I found it, my God. I just love BBC and their mini series based on these amazing novels! So beautiful, inspiring and classy. So much better than a lot of the modern things we put up with.
Oh, this trailer is wonderful! It made me sit down to watch the whole drama once again (and I can't count how often I already watched it...). I wished E. Gaskell had written more stories for us to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your fabulous work!

@MissSarah44H The first piece was composed by Rachel Portman as the "Main Theme" for the movie "The Cider House Rules". Hope it helps. I love both tracks (this and "The Vision" by X-Ray Dog) because they are so beautiful yet heart-wrenching.
I can't believe the producers don't have a trailer for this series. Thankfully you do and it makes me want to watch Wives and Daughters all over again!

My mom and I found this on Netflix and watched all four episodes in one night which is about 5 hours total. It's an amazing film!

I don't know what the first song is. Though I love it and would like to know what it's called.
The second song that comes on is "The Vision" by X-Ray Dog (They also made a fantastic clip called "Breathing Space") It's from the movie "Atonement"
