as an ex-trombonist myself, i'm no doubt prejudiced but having played in high school, college and later community band, i can say that i believe the t-bone to be the most versatile and potentially awesome instrument. many composers use them to create a dramatic or ominous mood. they can do this like no other, especially as a group with several parts. i will direct anyone to check out the video..university of south florida trombone choir playing the national anthem. the daytime one is the best.

@dale1966gto Well that's simply false. I like tbone more, but the french horn has much wider range and tone options as far as versatility from a hardware perspective.

And who said trombones suck. This proves something amazing. Some of my friends played this in high school. It's amazing how trobone's can make a beautiful sound like that. That proves that they're not only a bass instrument
