  • I swear Coady is the best fucking drummer ever damn he is so fast

  • Head for the Shallow is a sweeeeeeet album.

  • epic!what a drummer!

  • sick bidness

  • Wow, what an interesting sound. I'm into harder types of metal, but I definitely gotta check these guys out!

  • Buy their first two albums, you won't regret it.

  • these guys open up for tool. they are a good band. esspecially the drummer

  • who else is opening for tool on the 2009 s ummer tour? you know?

  • big business puts tool to shame 7 days a week.

  • thats kind of a high strong opinion.

  • you put yourself to shame with stupid comments like that

  • Tool fan central.

  • @Jorf420

they're really good and i like them just as much as tool but you can't say they put tool to shame at all really~ you bloody hipster

just because a band is popular doesn't mean it's bad, there's a thing called subjectivity, and et cetera

  • fuckin awesome just what id expect coming out of Karp

  • this song is a five minute drum solo with a vocal and bass part over it.

  • you say that like its a bad thing

  • gary shandling!!

  • Your youtube comment is like a sentence that isn't capitalized. Also, kill yourself.

  • 1- that was the world's worst simile

2- you are a tremendous fag and should leave the internet promptly

  • Nice capitalization and periods lolololololololololol.

  • this is so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes.

  • keep my advice don't come any closer

  • when i saw these guys the bassist had a captains hat on and a pipe. he was the captain of the party boat he said rofl. Big Bussines/The Melvins, great fucking show.

  • drummer is a killer

  • Hell yea he is, you should see him team up with crover from the Melvins.

  • Great performance and video. Can't wait to see these guys live.

    Santé!

  • I'm going to see these guys in about a month, for the second time. They are amazing, and have now added guitarist Toshi Kasai to the lineup. Coady Willis is just flat out one of the best drummers in heavy music. Love watching him.

  • That is an odd kit setup the drummer has.

  • That's because he plays left-handed. Otherwise, it's just a simple four-piece kit.

  • dude i saw these guys a couple of times opening for the melvins, some heavy ass shit. The drummer does that shit FOR TWO sets. Stood in the front row and i could just feel the vibrations from the bass. completely heavy

  • Yep Yep, I saw them open for Tool and they killed, then with the Melvins that same summer. We were a foot away form his drumset it was just insane. I hope see them many many more times

  • I saw these guys open for the Blood Brothers. After their set I started paying more attention to drummers in bands not just the guitar and vocals.

  • punk music heeheheh

    but yeah

  • not really punk music at all.

    but yeah.

  • butt yeah!!!

  • stoner punk

  • BIG BUSINESS are one of the most important contribution's to modern punk music. The sound quality on this vid is not so good, but you can see and feel the power.. do you realize that this a 2-piece? drum/bass..get either of their records and be blown away. See them live and be blasted to bits. Also they make up one half of the almighty MELVINS.. research it.

  • I love the effect on his bass. I want it!

  • holy fuck!!!!!!

  • rock it coady. man these guys kick ass

  • that bassist rules. i wonder what would happen if him and the guy from Death From Above 79 got in a bass battle?

  • i saw these guys open for tool 7-7-07 in wv they were amazing especially that drummer

  • that show was awesome, i caught one of the drumsticks that their drummer threw out, he tore the hell out of it

  • was that in portland? i saw them.... too much distortion. the bass got mixed with everything else and it sounded like one long bass line. drummer kicked ass... i saw him toss the stick. he recovered real well from it though.

  • I was there. I'll never forget him and Danny Carey dueling.

  • Is there video of this? That would rock and destroy all ever known to man.

  • i saw tool tnight, and these guys were the opening band....the drummer kicked ass

  • I saw them play with tool a couple days ago... I was actually really impressed they could sound so big when having 2 people in the band.

    The drummer is fuckin sick

  • yes the drummer is fucking sick was it the hamilton show? cuz i saw these guys open for tool in hamilton it was too sick

  • yup, it was hamilton...

    pretty neat coincidence

  • sickest show ever agreed?

  • yes, agreed.

It was kinda cool, there was some middle aged hippie on acid that chased me, he thought he was a heliocopter. Prly some of the scariest shit i've ever seen

  • lmfao

  • I just saw these guys open for Tool tonight in Montreal. They fucking rocked, and the drum solo with Danny Carey was off the hook. These guys are gonna go far!!!!!

  • coal90: I was at the Bell Centre too! Pretty good show...I was very impressed with Big Business. Drummer is outstanding. Solo w/ Carey was highlight of the night, by far.

  • Was there too. From where I was sitting, the sound was terrible for BB . The drum was too loud. I couldn't distinguish what the bassist was playing.

    Tool really kicked ass though.

  • They're just awesome. I still prefer Dale Crovers drumming over Coady willis. Coady is like a copy of him but not quite as good, but he'll get there.

Big business and melvins is just a totally awesome and perfect couple. It's probably the greates combination in music history!

  • the future, yo!

  • this is fucking great.

  • can't wait to see them+melvins myself. hopefully twice!

    Coady is superb.

    thanks for posting this!

  • WOW...sure does bring back some memories (of the Karp and Fitz days in Olympia). Big Business = Big ROCK !!!

  • wooo! Big Business rules. Rrrrrrock

  • Amaizng band, I would love to see them with the Melvins.

  • @Ohgr I did and it was the shit! =) I stongly urge you to as well.

  • Yes Yes Y-E-S, yes.

Big Biz-snatch rocks! Live sound needs work though. Serious EQing in order to get those highs out of that monster bass. Losing mucho melody in the mud.

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT

  • Is that a Breather Resist shirt Jared is wearing? Triple buuuaaad.

  • I saw these guys with High on Fire and Buried Inside. One of the best shows I've ever been to. Amazing band.

  • this drummer is fucking sick as fuck, can you imagine when they tour with the melvins, dale and this dude together playing at the same time o my fucking god, this will be the shit
