It's helpful but not so much, Luckily I know my flats and sharps.. that my friend you NEED to work on, you can't just say, "then u move up to here" You need to say flat/ sharp. I saw alot of Bb= B flats...

@iluvutube72x Thanks! I know, this was when I was just learning how to play by ear. Haha, I had never had any formal training in piano. But I've taken classes and now can play some prettyy cool advance stuff. Unfortunately I wanna post stuff, but I don't have a piano at the house i'm at now. =( Bummer. u should probably say ALL the notes ur playing out loud because your hand is blocking some of the right hand keys and i had no idea what keys u were hitting. but nice tutorial. very helpful

but i have the same exact keyboard, so jsut a tip. when you hit the function button a bunch of times till you get to m.octave, hit the minus button where all the numbers are and you can play the song at a lower octave and it sounds alot better.

to play the octaves with your left hand you should use ur little finger and thumb instead of your ring finger and thumb

Thanks =) but since this is a smaller piano, its more comfortable for me to use my ring finger and thumb. When I play a real sized piano though, I do use my pinky. =) Thanks again

Your lucky you can write on the keys, I am 11 and my mom wouldn't let me write on it, cuz its a nice casio 78 key one, sooo I get confuzed, plus I can barely reach the G to the next octave G, and you can reach it with your thumb and middle, I CAN'T!
