@psycho2cool cud b sumthing to do with the fact that by the 90s he started smoking alot(he probably used to before but I know by the early 90s he started smoking heavily) so his range got shot for the most part, and he doznt hav wat he used to, I still think he sounds good though,his voice has help up alot better than others like Halford(I know Halford's amazing but compare him now to the singer he was 25 or so years ago, his range is totally shot)

I think it's funny at 133 hank notice hitting the wrong note and laughs about it just like Randy Rhoads did on the after hours. What a good sport. they are not out of tune... just a simple mistake that can happen, does not matter how great you are, and they are both (Hank and Mike) great guitarist.

I got into Mercyful Fate in 1985, which I think was after they'd broken up the first time and when Don't Break the Oath was their most recent album. I was very impressed a few years later by the band's comeback album, In The Shadows, and am impressed by the band's (or in this case the frontman's) 30~ year longevity.

Hi smurfman95 I also saw VENOM in 1986 again at a small club. You cant do anything about what year you were born but u can still buy the old cds. I have about 700 records, all in great shape. I have VENOM picture discs, singles and all their albums most imported from england. Check out a band called WITCHFINDER GENERAL I think u will like them. Death Penalty and Friend of Hell albums are two of my favorites, the album covers are great. I know u were responding to FATE, Check out WITCHFINDER.

I saw fate in 1984 in Providence Rhode Island when i was 20 years old at a small club. Maybe 50 people in the croud. At the end of the show king diamond took off his two gloves and threw them,I got one of them and still have it today. Mercyful Fates music was evil and scarey and it was nice to see them at 20 years old. I am 45 now and still remember the show well. If your a kid today and reading this comment , I wish you could have been there. Live in Providence R.I. December night 1984.
