  • some of these can be made into skate parks though.

  • I thought I was the only one to have an odd interest in these things. I love to swim in a nice, clean, clear, well maintained pool, yet I find this so eerily fascinating and scary. It's so strange to picture all of the activity that once must have taken place around them and then to see them in such a state. It makes me ask all of those who, what, where, when and why questions.

The only way I can describe my interest is to say that they're like ghosts that everyone can see.

  • Just wondering Where the Pool at 0:47 is? Look like it was a pretty awsome place for the kids once upon a time!

  • abandoned pools full of dirty water is eery.. but nice vidoe. thanks for sharing.

  • mosquito breeding grounds

  • 1:09 lol

  • Such a great video!!

    so cool and intriguing!

In my home town there is an indoor swimming pool and behind it there were a view old abandoned swimming pools(one for children, one regular(2m deep) and one very deep one, you had to pull back a lot of leafs to get to it.. and it always gave me chillz..

  • 0:20 A little voice in my head goes "Go on, jump in I dare you."

  • 0:31 I swear that is a Pot Leaf right next to the ladder.

  • 1:44

I could swear that was in CoD 4

  • @TallRobby yer it was. Town of prypiat. Its completly abandoned. Intresting place.

  • wtf i clicked on car rims and this poped up what the fuck

  • Woud you go for a swim in the indoor one?

  • There's something very creepy about abandoned swimming pools-- I'm surprised a lot of these still have water in them. The indoor pools are the creepiest!!

  • 0:24 so cool..

  • This is very sad how people let these pools go. Especially the big ones. I've always been amazed at abandoned things and the one at 0:59 is beautiful. I don't understand it. The one at 1:04 is now a mess due to grafetti and the one at 1:24 looks HUGE.

  • how did the plants grow there ? theres chlorine

  • Comment removed

  • this made me cry idk why

  • I only recognized one pool...the second from last. It was from the swimming hall "Azure", from Pripyat in Ukraine. The city was abandoned after the Chernobyl disaster and is now a ghost town.

  • Chernobyl too, It was abandoned but its getting rebuilt. IDK whats gonna happen to pripyat.

  • when i was a kid, our pool went from blue to green to brown to black. its pretty nasty, guys. dont let ur swimming pool do that lol

  • 0:15 looks vary old!

  • 1:35 is a great swimming pool!.lol 1:11 swim at your own risk.

  • it's weird to know that once those pools were full of people having fun.

  • well if the walls are curved it's very likely that people still have fun skating in them

  • @abrahamtim yeah :S, i mean whats under that green horrible water scary...

  • The pool at 0:56 looks like a real nice pool

  • 1:44 OBVIOUSLY must be an abandoned diving pool
