Fearless was great, underrated. If he retired from films, it should have been Fearless I felt. But then WAR released and hurt this wonderful "going out in glory" impression. The actor still has a couple of great films left in him. I wish he wouldn't return every couple of years to Hollywood to shoot a lackluster film like War, Cradle 2 the Grave, The One. (Unleashed was pretty good at least) But stick to great films like Fearless, Fist of Legend, Once Upon A Time In China 1+2, etc. God bless.

I KNOW OMG! i think i teared up in FEARLESS...He said that Fearless would be his last wuxia film, but continues to work....his most recent work--which i saw on theatres, he paired up with jackie in the forbidden kingdom~it was alright, worth the watch. If u like Jackie, he's in a new movie called The Karate Kid. Its a remake of the original, Produced by Will Smith, and his son is the lead guy. Looks good.

The movie is set in China and has nothing to do with Japan; yeah, one of the main characters is part Japanese but you have to remember that China's customs and culture are drastically different from Japan's.

I liked Alexander, Braveheart, Kingdom of Heaven but this movie and "Mongol" is shit. Too much talking, boring plot and I dont really like japanese mimics and they way japanese people are. Im not racist i just dont like showing off the emotions, trying to show off with honour and that shit (i hope u know what i mean).

I mean they try to be very emotional, they try to show so much respect to others and honor on the battlefield. For exameple some armies kill themselves after losing a battle because their honor says so. Who said it was easy? Jet Li has done so many era specific movies that it's gotten boring. And these are the only type of asian movies that are imported to places like the United States. It's getting to the point that it's gonna be hard for the average white American to see Jet Li or any asian male as a hero in a modern setting.
