wow i should whach old shows more i forgot how good they were haha you know they should get the carol burnett show now that was hahalarious tee hee :P
I remember one the last appearances of Moe on The Merv Griffin show around the early 70's.
Mirv asked Moe how long he wanted the 3 Stooges to last. "Forever", he said, and then he added "and with a little luck I think we just might make it."
They've MORE than succeeded. Comedy comes and goes, but this stuff will always have it's place among the stars as the funniest stuff of all time. Moe and the boys are truly eternal. :)
They cut the best part, when all three of them and their dance teacher go out the window. These guys were geniuses, no one else has been able to duplicate what they've done.
I grew up LOVING these dudes. Looking back on a lot of the scripts, I now realize how cleverly written many of them were. The Stooges's timing was almost always dead-on perfect. As soon as I can, I'm gonna get every ep there ever was.
this was curly's last episode. he suffered a major stroke during filming and never completed the pie-fight scene. Shemp came back then and re-joined moe and larry.
how do they get those sounds? and how do these guys not hurt each other?

Curly came back for a cameo in one of the Shemps (as a man sleeping on a train, in "Hold That Lion").

Actually, you're thinking of the 1947 remake, Half-Wits Holiday. It's also here on youtube.

poor curly!

It may be visceral comedy - it may be "belly laughs" - it may not be "intellectually correct," but by Tophet - it was HILARIOUS!
"The Three Stooges" are the FUNNIEST comedians
on film. Even in Eternity, I'm sure that Curly, Larry, and Moe (even Shemp) will "always leave 'em laughing!"
It's 80 years later, but you still have hordes of devoted fans who LOVE you and your comedy!
