Nah man! They're always on my mind even if I give other music a chance - best band ever - best music - longest run - BLOW AWAY the Stones - at least tied with the Beatles! Pink Floyd MAY have been as cool but they did not appeal to as many people - too experimental - and they did not have as long of a run...I mean 30 years later U2 is STILL making GREAT music. Not just making music - making very VERY good music! That's unheard of. Most bands fade into Suckland, completely out of ideas...ya know?

the thing w/ U2 is this-emotion. i got so much out of listening to war, the unforgettable fire and the joshua tree as a young adult...the only thing that sucks is the amount of time they go between lp's these days. though it's great to hear they are putting out another cd early next year.

Yeah man, but if they rushed it the music ould probably not be as consistently great as it has been. I'd rather wait and have them put out a masterpiece than have them release albums more often and go "oh shit, I think they're losing it"
