when that storm happend i was at the jewel osco with my mom and grandma we had to sit in the jewel for the whole time and when i got back a tree fell down and my swingset fell down stupid tornadoes!!

IM 12, I was home alone on that thursday in fox lake at 10:02 when i heard sirens. i just got out of the shower when the power when off. i was scared and didnt know what to do.

@zydek44e i believe that may have actually been some rain that hit the lens causing some glare... this was after the storm has lost the warning.

Yea My wife and i where also driving around looking for a tornado also drove all the way up to antioch but all we got was heavy rain

I remember this day. My half-sister was crying her head off. She is scared of thunder, and then we found out it was a tornado, and she got even more scared. Also, the horns over here were longer in Fox Lake.

@HystoricalMicrobe i think you may actually be right, i never had a photo of that siren during the day. I just looked on google street map and bings bird view... it is an sth-10. its at the intersection of Lily Lake Rd and W Rand Rd (120) at the firestation.
